Angelina's (now age 16) is now My Version. She owns it now. Judy Garland sang this in "My Funny Vanentine" in 1939. Originally it was from the 1937 musical "Babe in Arms". Frank did his "cover version" along with Ella Fitzgerald, Sammy Davis Jr, Barbara Streisand, Etta James and about 1500 others. 🍁
Chet Baker's was my favorite until Angie's.
I am having the feeling that she is probably in an LA prop shop, or actual vintage store. With her Republic Records contacts, she could easily get into a prop shop.

She grew up singing Jazz and this is obviously her favorite genre, the biggest influence, the origination of her versatility, deep soulful expression and deep emotional connection to her audience. She can sing any song and any genre. ♥👣
She is absolutely fearless in choice of covers. No artist is too big and no song too daunting. Most Artists shy away from singing Acappella as it will quickly show any flaws. Angelina arranges, at least in part, if not in total, total control of all her performances. She has since she was 7-8 yrs old. She knows what she wants and gets exactly what she wants out of the artists and musicians she works with, many of them who are some of the most accomplished in the industry.
Angelina has the most beautiful deep voice which is always in tune and quite often in her lower register. I believe she is a Contralto which is rare for a girl especially at this age. You will soon realize she is always Pitch Perfect and always performs at a Master Class level. Her voice was powerful and beautiful at 8 yrs old and today at 16 it is phenomenal! Enjoy the ride. The version she does is near to the one of Ella Fitzgerald, imho. But it is an own version, which will go to the music history itself.
When she sings it, it falls over me like a warm blanket making me feel warm and wonderful. She skillfully dances and slides from note to note, plays with dynamics and texture to a delightful combination. Thanks!

16 years old and amazing. You mentioned Frank Sinatra. At Angelinas streamed chistmas show 3 of the musicians had played with Frank Sinatra for years. The drummer (can't remember his name, sorry) he said that Frank put his storytelling before his singing and Angelina was a natural storyteller too. Imho she never just sing a song, but she put so much of her soul and emotion into the song to tell a story. Thanks for your reaction and I'm glad Mike still is alive. LOL

Tiny Little Girl
Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice will be 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve.

Angelina just turned 16 on January 10th and now stands around 6 foot 1 inch and every bit a top model. Her voice is maturing and getting better which is almost scary. Angelina IS music.
All I can say is that Angelina, as a person and as a vocalist, has improved the quality of my life in ways that are hard to describe. Her music inspires me to be more creative and motivates me to want to make the world a better place. I don't think there are any higher compliments one can give to a fellow human being. I, along with other angels, have embarked on an inspired mission to transform the culture of the music reaction world on RUclips, and also make it a better place by suggesting that reaction channels go beyond just cookbook reactions. I and fellow angels are recommending that reactors be creative in inspiring and educating viewers how to elevate support for the artists. This may include providing all links and recommending that viewers utilize those links. It should be a natural thing to do and both reaction Channel and artists benefit. Dozens of channels have now implemented creative ideas, including our basic suggestions, and are having greater success with their channels.
One of the suggestions I try to get across to all reactors and analysts is that they insist that any request be accompanied by a link to the performance and that they ignore any request that does not have a link to the performance. I also try to get those who are making requests to include a link so that they can show respect for the creator of the content (and the time/effort they expend making these reactions) and also, to insure the performance reacted to is the one intended in the request. Too many requests seem to assume the one they have in mind will somehow, automatically, become the one selected by the reactor(s) when no link is provided. I've seen this lead to negative comments being made to the reactors. I'm meeting a lot of resistance and sarcasm from fans, in response to this suggestion. Almost like, I'm not allowed to express an opinion about this. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for the reactors.

Sweet sixteen and six foot tall...
She's still playing around with filters for her eyes and cheeks... but she will learn soon enough that all she has to do is whistle or hum and a large part of musical fans will come to listen ..
She really is best at jazz, bluesy music that sounds like it was performed in some club without windows at some impossible hour in morning... Maybe with Tom Waits's mr Mumbles playing the piano in the corner...😎😉🌟
Sinatra, rest in peace Angelina Jordan, the Bare Foot Queen has taken the crown and there is nothing like her in the universe.
When I first heard her perform this I put it on pause and brought up Sinatra, Bublé, Streisand, Fitzgerald and Vaughan's version of this song to compare it to AJ version, and none of them moved me like this version. It is so hard to comprehend that Angelina from 7 to 16 is the greatest story telling being in my 74 years of experiencing great vocalist and I can't wait for the rest of the story.

Angelina is only 16 years old and still goes to school. It's proven by family, Angelina, and the record company (Public Records) and take it easy yet. She is so skilled that they only need to press the button when it suits them best. Many listeners forget that she is only 16 years old!

It's a 16 year old Instragram post. She shot it with her cell phone. It's fabulous. Did you want her to pay for a video crew to shoot sunsets and flower beds? Personally, I'm proud of her accomplishments and I've heard many use the word proud when talking about her.
