Shinra Gaming is Signing Off from Mobile Legends
First of all, thank you to my viewers who watch or subscribe because of my Mobile Legends content. Even though it's sometimes cringe, I appreciate you all. If you want to leave, it's fine. You're free.
Here are some stories:
It's been 8 years since I started playing Mobile Legends. I was in grade 9 at that time. Initially, it was just a pastime because I was playing Dota 2, but sometimes I lacked the money to play at the computer shop. So, I found an alternative MOBA that was much more accessible: MLBB. I played it during its beta test, and because it was fun and similar to another MOBA I played (League of Legends), I got hooked immediately. Even though my classmates called this game fake, a bootleg, and a copy-paste, which was somewhat true, I never doubted its potential. It improved and was released globally, marking the rise of ML. I'm happy because a lot of people in our country recognized this game, especially during the pandemic.
I played this game casually because, as a gamer, I like to explore different games. For me, it was just for fun, so my rank was not as high as others. Another reason is the responsibilities and obligations at home, in school, and other related matters.
Why am I stopping playing this game? It's because I no longer feel the excitement I did when I first played it. Maybe it's just burnout. There's no more goal or endgame. Once you reach the rank limit, what now? There's no skin or other rewards, and after the season resets, you go back to epic or legend. It feels repetitive to me. The biggest factor is that I have more responsibilities now than when I was a student, so I cannot afford to give this time. I should focus on my profession. I'm not quitting because of the toxicity. I'm prepared for that because Dota 2 is far more toxic than ML, so it's totally fine for me.
Anyway, it's a fun game, especially when you are in a squad or group, trash-talking the enemy and celebrating at the same time. Thanks to all my classmates, friends, and foes I played alongside in this game. I will miss those days.
