He handled those DDs perfectly. I was very impressed by this guy's skill. The only misplay in my opinion was sitting in the Kagero smoke instead of running away, the North Cal was too far to spot him and would never catch up to him. But didn't matter in the end. Well played

nearly the same like on the montana, the midway has in comparision only 2 less guns and 1km less base range

Nettes Video, ordentlich gelaufen,aber ich selbst nutze beim CV ausschließlich den manuellen Abwurf. Auch bei den Divebombern.
Autodrops kommen bei mir nur als "Oh Mist, ich bin Tot"-Button vor.

Maybe the enemy CV was trying to suicide cause there are 3 fires and 3 floodings on her at the same time. So brutal lol. Nice play！

Enemy team was spread out, the DD's were absolutely stupid, and the enemy CV didn't pay attention to him... The stars lined up for massive damage, great game though.
OverfrostyZ H they shouldn't have been hunting the cv anyway. They had the DD advantage until they got wrecked. They could've ran around capping and their team would've likely won.

1-a SUPER shit team
2-a pretty shitty red team but good enough to reck yours.

PSA: This is why DD should not be chasing CV's especially high tiers. If the secondaries won't get you the fact you have to chase a fast CV is another matter. Plus why were they not focused on the objectives? Torp spreads should be spread out not narrow. My biggest issue is why the DD's never fired the guns to get fires on the CV. Overall those DD's played very poorly.
Neither Kagero, nor Shimakaze used their guns. That's why they failed so bad, besides the fact that they ARE bad. Seriously, Shima alone could have defeated the Midway using her guns
Japanese destroyers always seem to forget to fire their guns.
That F. Der. Grobe was crap, he didn't seem to interested in helping his carrier out in killing a BB that is about 10 km or less from him.

funny thing is, it actually is another word in german, "der Große" means the Great, "der Grobe" would mean the rough ^^
i don't think the grobe could see the NC since there was a cyclone.

They're not overpowered. Your brain is just underpowered. Did you see any hint or presence of a Cruiser in this game ? Wherever our hero's planes went, there were no Cruisers, and that's one of the only things that can stop a Midway.
^ fine with me as top tier cv's could use a damn nerf, 1 strike can damn near sink an equal tier BB.

They need at least a buff to credit and xp gains. Right now there isn't enough incentive to play them.
The average WoWs player is mentally handicapped and can't handle operating a CV correctly anyway.

yes they are. It is too easy to control how you drop those torpedo bombers/dive bombers once you master them. But it is not the same case if you play dd/ca/bb.
nothing worse than USN strike deck CV vs USN strike deck CV....
This is part of the reason why the Midway is so underpowered! He clearly had too few torpedo bomber squadrons and had to rely on the dive bomber squadrons as a crutch, and look how badly it held him back! There were NINE other players he wasn't able to kill!
Wargaming seriously needs to fix this!
