Partial Fractions | Improper Fraction. Lesson 2

    Sometimes the degree of the numerator of the fraction we wish to resolve into partial fractions may be equal or higher than the degree of the denominator. In this case, we first use long division to divide the numerator by the denominator before we proceed to resolve into partial fractions.

    I used the other method and got different values for A n B (-10 n 25) respectively

    Please answer what happens if [x-1] is given as [3x-2]

      @@tambuwalmathsclass like in most of your examples the denominators[linear factors] are [x-1] and [x-2] am asking what if the [x-1] is [3x-2]
