Just received the Lovevook 15 inch bag to be my personal item for my 10 days to Paris and Brussels next month. Wow! It is a great bag all the way around! It holds a lot, and so stylish and well made. I have so many bags that just don’t make the cut anymore. I am a minimal packer, and only use a rolling backpack, and when I am not rolling it, and am wearing it, I can carry the Lovevook with ease. Love all your videos. I am a seasoned traveler, but love all your tips, tricks, and hacks. Thanks for sharing!
I love my Longchamp tote - depending on the trip and what I need on the plane. It is a great every day carry when traveling in cities and doesn’t yell tourist.
I love your videos. You have such a joyful personality! I’ve learnt so many great travel tips from you and I really appreciate your attention to detail - your videos are just getting better and better! Thanks so much.
If you can't afford designer bags and feel a certain way about expensive designer bags, then don't watch this video. Like do you read a video title before clicking on it? The title makes it clear that the video will be about designer bags. I find these types of videos very helpful and although I can't afford these bags yet, I know one day I will. I wanted to know which designer bag was truly worth my hard-earned money and one that I would get the most out of. That being said, if you're reading this, thank you for sharing this video with us and please make more videos like this. Maybe luxrul is your next choice?
The other consideration is what you are going to use as your purse at your destination. If you have to pack a separate purse because you aren't going to use your tote bag / backpack, that is extra packing to consider and an extra step of moving things around.
On my Switzerland trip, I used the Baggallini Tribeca expandable backpack and loved it. I needed the room bc I was only bringing a carryon suitcase. For my next int’l flight I’m checking my larger luggage and bringing a smaller foldable daypack for all the touring. So I’m trying my new MZ Wallace Medium Metro Tote Deluxe for my Personal item. It folds into the included large pouch and I can put it in my luggage when using my small daypack. The Metro tote also has a luggage sleeve for after I land. The soft, squishy Metro tote is so lightweight and has a crossbody strap. I hope this will really work for me on this next trip. 🙏🏼 ✈️
I have a pinkish red backpack similar to the blue one behind you on camera. I used it when going to England last summer and found it hard to push under the seat in front of me. Since I had a window seat I pulled it out enough that I could find items packed. So many pockets, almost too many because I had packed compression socks for my long flight and couldn't find them. Thus, my ankles really swelled. But I'm flying this summer on a much shorter flight and I'll put those socks near the top.😊
My perfect bag would be backpack with wheels and fits under the seat. I want to one bag travel. So planning a crossbody bag with this perfect bag is my new goal for Greece trip. 😂help
I travel every 90 days. I'm going next week. I check my luggage because I'm too old to schlep carry-on bags through TSA but I do want a nice personal item bag. I have gone through a zillion different ones. Still can't find a satisfactory solution.
Thank you for mentioning that weight could be a concern. I bought myself the Nomad Origami Tote for my upcoming birthday. I’ll have a checked bag next trip (1st trip using it) but will be careful with what I carry on, which includes my iPad.
I fly with Southwest Airlines, and the aisle seat has a much smaller underseat space. So the same bag that can fit in the middle or window seat with ease, can be a struggle to fit if you’re in the aisle seat.
I always struggle with my personal item bag. I just can’t find the right one. I have back and shoulder issues, and hate backpacks! I have a Travelon crossbody bag but need a personal bag too.
I have yet to find the “perfect” combo of carry-on and personal item. I have a Vera Bradley Campus backpack XL which is I love for the quality, but it is quite large..better suited for road trips than flying. I flew a couple weeks ago and noticed a man in an aisle seat with a large duffel that wouldn’t fit under the seat, so he just left it at his feet. I was surprised the flight attendants didn’t even say anything. It would be a safety hazard for the person in the window seat in the event of an evacuation.
I'm trying a backpack for my next trip. The number of pockets seems overwhelming to remember what is where. I have used totes in the past but hate the lack of organization and digging for everything.
@@julieb7882 I carried a backpack for my personal item a couple of years ago and could never remember what was where. Having to search every pocket was frustrating so I finally just made myself a small notepad size list of what was in each pocket which I kept in an easily accessible front pocket. A quick check of the list sent me to just the right pocket to retrieve what I was wanting. Of course, to work, things have to go back where you got them from and you can’t lose your list.
I have bought so many bags for use as my personal item bag. None have been right for me. I’ve just now got the dupe calpac puffy tote from Amazon. It is extremely lightweight and appears to be what I want but once I use it for my travels I’ll know if this is actually the one for me.
I carry a 10 lb backpack daily.with my tablet, headsets , chargers attends, a water bottle wallet etc. If I were to fly i could fill that with medicine only. Not leaving any room for spare clothing or anything else.
@@constancepullen810 If you have a smaller tote or other type of bag for your medications and other medical supplies, it flies free. Medical necessities do not count as one of your bags in the cabin.
@@constancepullen810 that can all be in the same bag as your meds and anything else you require for your medical care. If you are staying in a hotel, request a gallon of distilled water be in your room. Most will help with this request. My medical bag has my CPAP, wound care supplies, medications, and more. I use a duffel bag. I bought a tag that says medical bag on it to make it obvious more for other passengers. I fly also with a personal item bag and a carry on suit case. I also am disabled. The person that brings me to the plane, puts my medical bag and carry on in the overhead bin. They also get them down at my destination.
Great video, thanks! Love your bubbly attitude! If I may make a suggestion, "iPad" is a name brand, the generic equivalent would be "tablet". Some of us don't use Apple products, think they are ridiculously overpriced and we wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole! So we would appreciate a more inclusive wording. Thanks!

My personal item of choice is a 17” rolling backpack. 90% of the time, I roll it. It has never been questioned.

I love mine as well I just wish they'd make them with a trolley sleeve.
@@knk9657 me too. Have been thinking of purchasing one of those clasp belts to fit around it on my suitcase handle!
The variety of textures in the kislux pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
I'm a tote traveler. Open space using different color pouches inside to keep things organized.
I use pouches too 😊

Even better is a back pack with a trolly sleeve.

Can you share your reading glasses please
@Genx Gypsy where did you get your glasses that you put in your cross bag in this video?

Are you sure you don’t also want to call her out for calling the tissues she put in her crossbody bag Kleenex? 🤦♀️
This has gotta be the most ridiculous complaint I’ve ever seen.
Wow 😮
She also talks about her Kindle, should she not mention that too?
@adrianabrown1011 🙄🙄🙄 oh, you’re one of those. OK maybe she should call every person by their full name and gender too.
