I am watching this from the Philippines and almost all of those you have are local tropical fruits we have. It’s very amusing to see everybody’s reaction to them. Good job educating the kids’ palates as early as possible.
WoW, you are so courageous to try those fruits. Born in Indonesia, I know them all. Please keep in mind, that they are mostly imported and don't taste as they should, once they arrive at your destinatation. Some recommendations: -Don't try too many at the same time -Look up how to open, prepare or cook them.(It broke my heart how the rambutan was cut) -Find recipes how to make (spicy) dishes with those fruits. E.g. Thai mango salad. Or jackfruit fajitas. Many of them replace protein. But for sure, you are great to try food from other countries, where fruits are not always consumed the same way as in yours. Very edutaining vlog, you guys. Keep tasting, much love🥰
@@1m_bates1 we have all those fruits as well 😊.. you can find all sorts of fruits here.. we just love trying different types of fruits, that's why all sorts of fruits can be found anywhere here.. local and imported fruits.. the fruits they are trying in the video mostly can be found in Asia
Quince is really good cooked. I've never eaten raw. Slice it in wedges and cook it with a bit of cinnamon. You can eat it as an accompaniment to roast chicken. Delicious!!
yep, quinces have to be simmered for a really long time until they become soft. Then they,re super tasty, like stewed apple or pear. But they have a beautiful fragrance!
Actually pretty much all the Caribbean fruits were not ripe. But I’m proud of all the kids for their willingness to try. Give them another chance, I grew up on most of those fruits and I love them, so this males me happy
Hi from the UK. Wow such an amazing choice never heard of some of them. Well done everyone for trying them.. I think Mason will be a chef He is so good in the kitchen. Love watching your videos xxx
When Aubrey said “it’s better but it’s still missing something” I immediately thought of Chamoy, we eat mango with takin and chamoy it’s sooo good! Also the “cactus fruit” is called a Tuna
Great enthusiasm from everyone to try different fruits was great. Kason was so keen to try them all and looked to be enjoying them. Sorry to hear Cody had a reaction to one of them. Blessings to you all.
That was fun to watch. Kason has a great time. He was game for a lot of them. It's good that you try new things with your family and they were so willing to try them. Sorry you had a bad reaction, Cody.
I love how you had the kids go with you looking for exotic fruits. Now that you've tried the pink glow pineapple, you have try and get your hands on our Maui Gold pineapple, they are absolutely (onolicious) delicious......
I'm from the Philippines and a lot of these fruits are native in our country. It's interesting how other people reacts to different fruits. I'm glad that you guys try these things. Also, bananas don't taste the same, bananas have different kind of types. You guys should also try Mabolo. 🥰
Kumquats are some of my all time favorites. They tend to be somewhat seasonal. It really is a party in your mouth. Both tart, sweet and sour all at once.
This one was great, I love fruit. Red guava is way better than the white ones in my opinion. Papaya I can only have it by adding sugar (it's great if you mix it with banana and apple on a smoothie). Jack fruit is a great substitute for some meat on dishes. We have a dish in Brazil called Carne Louca (made with shredded beef) and for the vegetarian ones we do a Jaca Louca (made with Jack fruit).
Papaya does smells nasty but they're very good for smoothies after adding half piece of banana and milk. It's good fiber. Dragon fruits tastes like the cactus fruit because they grow out of similar looking leaves/stems. Aubrey actually is eating the mangoes right. In some Southeast Asian countries, Guavas and mangoes are sold with salt and chili similar to tajin. Persimmons are my favourite when dried and candied. Jackfruits can be cooked here with coconut milk in the Philippines when unripe. I'm glad the kids are adventurous enough to try even if they don't like it at the end.
I love how you guys are always willing to try new things. So the papaya , you can actually make pickled papaya. You use some vinegar, water and some salt to your taste. Let it soak and it would be so much better, also having the papaya when it’s white is better for pickling.
14:14 the tunas taste better when they’re cold, I personally prefer the greens one and leave them in the fridge for a few mins to have a nice refreshing taste, a easy way to cut them is cutting the two ends and make a small cut along the slide and you can easily peel the skin 😊
Hi I love your videos much thank you for being the best family channel I have ever found you are like my family more than my actually family because I know you won't judge me for anything I say or do so thank you and thank you to the rest of the people watching this video for letting them get this far and helping them get so many subscribers
Kason must have Caribbean in him the way he enjoyed those fruits ❤❤… the guava was green when ripen it turns a greenish yellowish color on the outside and pinkish color on the inside and taste so good and it’s very good for the body .. the leaves make a tea
I’m Mexican and it’s so weird to think these are exotic to you!! We have them all the time here, you can find them in any market and WAY cheaper! I was shocked to hear the price of some of those!!
Im from the UK even I was surprised at some of the prices of these fruits, they are alot cheaper here. I think stores in the states just hike a bunch of the prices for profits.
Watching from South Africa. We also know Papaya as "paw-paw" here. The best is cutting the flesh into small pieces and then sprinkling with sugar. Wait for a few minutes and the sugar will slightly melt. Then eat! I think yr guava wasn't ripe. Ripe guava in South Africa turns from green to yellow/cream and the inside has a slightly pinkish colour. You can absolutely eat the seeds of the guava. Have loved watching you guys try new fruits and opening yr experience to things not grown near you.
This was so fun to watch! I grew ip Eating most of these fruits and I think a lot of them were not quite ripe/not the sweetest time to eat them. Trying new foods is always so great!
Hi crazy Middle's thank you for sharing this video this was a super fun video I love seeing the kids try new fruit you are such a amazing family thank you so much
That's good that they're trying different fruits there's a lot out there that's I haven't even tried I would love to but just sometimes where you go shopping at doesn't carry all those different types of fruits ❤️ love your show try not to miss it anytime when I get a notification I'm watching it a lot of times I'll save it until I'm in my chair in the evening and I can sit and watch it without being interrupted ❤️🙂
I'm from Taiwan. Most of the fruits are really common for us. I love to watch the reaction of them trying some different fruits. We usually will peel the pomelo's skin because it kinda have two skin. The one is white and thin is kinda taste bitter if you don't take it away. The red dragon fruit is actually pretty great if you put it and the pineapple together and blend it like a juice. You should definitely try to eat guava and sand pear with plum powder,it's better. And I think the papaya is kinda not ripe yet but also you can try to blend it with some milk,it's super delicious! I hope you guys can try the durian in the future (but I personally think it would taste better if you put it in the freezer first) I really do love this video and hope to see more video like this.❤
For some of the fruits, like the papaya, they taste so much better when you get it fresh in the countries it naturally grows. I don't like Papaya when I buy them where I live, but when I ate them overseas they were so delicious
Ah, I see.. I was so confused when they said the papaya tasted like dirt.. I live in Indonesia, I have papaya trees in front of my house, we eat it fresh, it tastes sooooo good..
@@mamagac1326 Yeah, I had Papaya before I went to Asia, but they tasted really bad. My mind was blown away when I had my first fresh papaya. They are sooo delicious. I couldn't stop eating them

Quince is good for chutneys and jams and also my parents used to make quince liquor (but from a smaller variation of quince). The sweetness breaks the sourness of the quince
I love quince jelly. I eat it raw but its usally not for raw eating. I steam juice the quince and make jelly. The juice itselfs is very yummy.. So fun to watch you guys tasting fruit!
In south Italy we have a lot of cactus fruits during summer, someone makes jam or sauce or ice cream to avoid seeds. I really love the smell and taste... without seeds, Aubrey is right.
Sprinkle pepper on the papaya the evening before and it is extra delicious next morning rambutan you take the seed out and they are fabulous. Quinces cooked into a jelly are nice, not so tasty raw. Custard apples are really nice as well.
I'm from Brazil and the kids eat papaya with sugar, maybe you guys like more with... the guava was white in side, I think wasn't ready for eating, which explains the watery taste
Thank you guys for trying other fruits your not familiar with. Most of them are local fruits also in the Philippines. So funny how you cut the Rambutan fruit, we just actually pop or peel the skin then eat it until only the seed were left then put them aside we dont cut it, also before eating Jackfruit put a little bit of a cooking oil in your hands so it wont be sticky when u eat them, im not sure also if the last fruit you've eaten was a Guyabano (other names Graviola,Soursop) its actually a medicinal fruit and also it is good to eat when its ripe.
