Wow that would have been an amazing endgame. The fact that Elena professed her undying love to Stefan and then a few weeks later fell magically in love with Damon ruined her character for me. The Elena they made over the first few seasons never would have allowed herself to betray Stefan like that. Like it’s HIS BROTHER. it should have been Stelena or Elena ends up ALONE or with someone else. Not this forced chemistry between nina and Ian which you could see diminished after they broke up in my opinion. delena’s chemistry was far better when they weren’t dating and Elena hated Damon lol :/

Lindsey Coleman this is my first time watching a video on what happened. There are many rumors about their break up that hurts both their reputations and a lot speculation about the topic that this video cleared up for me. Not everyone has seen those videos.
I mean, she was 24. She wasn't ready for children. She didn't want to be tied down. Can't blame her for that. I'd like to experience independent life first without the responsibility of a child, and Ian probably wanted to settle down and have kids and she just didn't want that yet. They were and still are at two completely different stages in their lives, and if you aren't on the same page in a relationship, it's probably best to leave it where it is and move on in you're own directions.
It was pretty much, they’re just kinda ram-baling in this. She was younger and wanted to try and continue her career first. He’s happy in his new relationship. She’s happy for them. It ended a long time ago and they’re still friends. They still love each-other, just not like that.
First off, I just want to say that it felt like they were together a lot longer than 3 years. Secondly, I am glad that they weren't endgame because at the time, Nina had so much living and exploration to do as well as her career was just beginning whereas Ian had already done that. I think if they had actually gotten married/stayed together, Nina's career probably would have been sidelined. I very much liked the two together and was sad when they broke up but now that I am an adult I am glad they both seem to have found what they were looking for. Nina is living her life and travelling and Ian has the family he always wanted.

If you see The TVD last episode you could notice that Nina play was nothing but professional. Also she handled this breakup situation on set very well and mature. At the same time Ian's play was so off. He was completely frozen. Also there was promo interviews after their breakup where Ian behavior towards Nina was so shady. I remember there was a lot of insides from the sources. Basically they were saying that Ian made Nina felt uncomfortable and excluded on set. Also he constantly brought Nikki on set. Come on Nina literally left the show. I remember their photos from parties and picnics during season 6. There was everyone except Nina, including Nikki and she even was not part of the show. Candice King didn't bring his partner, no one did except Ian. I don't know why everyone trying to play it cool because there totally was some drama going on.
At the end of the day SHE was the one who was unprofessional. She left the show, he stayed.And sorry but her acting in last episode was terrible. No emotions, nothing.

Elena probably feels guilty and grief as well. Nina's departure was actually planned from the get go, Julie said so. They weren't expecting the show to be as successful as it became. She left because she didn't want the series to hold her back from other actions positions, etc. I think almost every actor wanted to move on from the series from that point. Nina's departure allowed the series to focus on how Stefan and Damon are as individuals and their evolution.

Not trying to be controversial but I personally think their chemistry on the show DID get worse after they broke up? There's a huge difference between their chemistry in the first several seasons and then in season 6 and the series finale it just felt...idk, a bit forced and wooden by comparison. I don't care about who they date (not sure why this was in my recommendeds at all) -- the real disappointment for me was that the CHARACTERS I loved no longer had the chemistry that made me ship them all those years before. Just my take.

I think it takes an enormous amount if maturity to decide to separate like that. When one of the two partners wants to build a family and the other one feels too young to commit it can be heartbreaking. It usually happens when there is an age gap between the partners, but it can happen in any case and situation. It's the kind of stuff most people decide to ignore until the last possible minutes, and I do not think it's healthy for a relationship to drag that far.
I really love Delena, and it always sucks to hear that shippers treated the actors poorly or crossed the line from fiction to reality. It seems to happen with all ships and fandom, and then everyone gets a bad reputation for it. I wish everyone could just keep the ships away from the actors, or at least not harass them about it. :(

Here’s my opinion on this, they broke up and everyone is sad I get it, it makes me sad because they were so cute together but in the end he is married and has a child with the women he loves. People will always have a special place in their heart Ian and Nina together because of TVD and how they were with each other. I understand why people still ship them together but I also understand why people say to leave Ian and Nina alone about them still being shipped together. If you are going to make edits don’t tag them because you want them to see it, I get you want to be noticed by someone you really love but with them not being in a relationship now for a long with and Ian being married. I think though that Nina and Ian will have to just push past the edits if they don’t like them because their breakup impacted the media and everyone perspective on things. Not only did they breakup but it caused a strange feeling on the show they both starred on since they became the main couple and then when Nina left people speculated they it was because of their breakup and it may have been a little but she wanted to have a change in her acting career and start something new. In the end, Ian and Nina will just have to live with the fact that people will always like them together rather than Ian and Nikki. Now if was the other way around it would probably be the same because of their connection on TVD.
Like I’ve said and will always say, Ian was 30 when recording season 1. Nina was 20 years olds. He had 10 years in adult hood while she was barely a minor a couple years before. He was already a man who wanted marriage and kids of course. Nina wanted to enjoy her peek in adult hood and wanted to enjoy her career. They split and Ian was ready a year later for marriage with nikki. The reason why I love Ian and Nina is because of how mature and how much love they have with one another. She’s really good friends with them while she has a bf of her own. I think us the fans need to have respect for them.

Wow that would have been an amazing endgame. The fact that Elena professed her undying love to Stefan and then a few weeks later fell magically in love with Damon ruined her character for me. The Elena they made over the first few seasons never would have allowed herself to betray Stefan like that. Like it’s HIS BROTHER. it should have been Stelena or Elena ends up ALONE or with someone else. I mean, she was 24. She wasn't ready for children. She didn't want to be tied down. Can't blame her for that. I'd like to experience independent life first without the responsibility of a child, and Ian probably wanted to settle down and have kids and she just didn't want that yet. They were and still are at two completely different stages in their lives, and if you aren't on the same page in a relationship, it's probably best to leave it where it is and move on in you're own directions.
It was pretty much, they’re just kinda ram-baling in this. She was younger and wanted to try and continue her career first. He’s happy in his new relationship. She’s happy for them. It ended a long time ago and they’re still friends. They still love each-other, just not like that.
First off, I just want to say that it felt like they were together a lot longer than 3 years. Secondly, I am glad that they weren't endgame because at the time, Nina had so much living and exploration to do as well as her career was just beginning whereas Ian had already done that. I think if they had actually gotten married/stayed together, Nina's career probably would have been sidelined. I very much liked the two together and was sad when they broke up but now that I am an adult I am glad they both seem to have found what they were looking for. Nina is living her life and travelling and Ian has the family he always wanted.

If you see The TVD last episode you could notice that Nina play was nothing but professional. Also she handled this breakup situation on set very well and mature. At the same time Ian's play was so off. He was completely frozen. Also there was promo interviews after their breakup where Ian behavior towards Nina was so shady. I remember there was a lot of insides from the sources. Basically they were saying that Ian made Nina felt uncomfortable and excluded on set. Also he constantly brought Nikki on set. Come on Nina literally left the show. I remember their photos from parties and picnics during season 6. There was everyone except Nina, including Nikki and she even was not part of the show. Candice King didn't bring his partner, no one did except Ian. I don't know why everyone trying to play it cool because there totally was some drama going on.
I think it was normal. Damon's brother had to die in order to have Elema back. So, he has a mixed combination of guilt, grief, and gratitude.
At the end of the day SHE was the one who was unprofessional. She left the show, he stayed.And sorry but her acting in last episode was terrible. No emotions, nothing.

Elena probably feels guilty and grief as well. Nina's departure was actually planned from the get go, Julie said so. They weren't expecting the show to be as successful as it became. She left because she didn't want the series to hold her back from other actions positions, etc. I think almost every actor wanted to move on from the series from that point. Nina's departure allowed the series to focus on how Stefan and Damon are as individuals and their evolution.

Not trying to be controversial but I personally think their chemistry on the show DID get worse after they broke up? There's a huge difference between their chemistry in the first several seasons and then in season 6 and the series finale it just felt...idk, a bit forced and wooden by comparison. I don't care about who they date (not sure why this was in my recommendeds at all) -- the real disappointment for me was that the CHARACTERS I loved no longer had the chemistry that made me ship them all those years before. Just my take.

I think it takes an enormous amount if maturity to decide to separate like that. When one of the two partners wants to build a family and the other one feels too young to commit it can be heartbreaking. It usually happens when there is an age gap between the partners, but it can happen in any case and situation. It's the kind of stuff most people decide to ignore until the last possible minutes, and I do not think it's healthy for a relationship to drag that far.

Here’s my opinion on this, they broke up and everyone is sad I get it, it makes me sad because they were so cute together but in the end he is married and has a child with the women he loves. People will always have a special place in their heart Ian and Nina together because of TVD and how they were with each other. I understand why people still ship them together but I also understand why people say to leave Ian and Nina alone about them still being shipped together. If you are going to make edits don’t tag them because you want them to see it, I get you want to be noticed by someone you really love but with them not being in a relationship now for a long with and Ian being married. I think though that Nina and Ian will have to just push past the edits if they don’t like them because their breakup impacted the media and everyone perspective on things. Not only did they breakup but it caused a strange feeling on the show they both starred on since they became the main couple and then when Nina left people speculated they it was because of their breakup and it may have been a little but she wanted to have a change in her acting career and start something new. In the end, Ian and Nina will just have to live with the fact that people will always like them together rather than Ian and Nikki. Now if was the other way around it would probably be the same because of their connection on TVD.

Like I’ve said and will always say, Ian was 30 when recording season 1. Nina was 20 years olds. He had 10 years in adult hood while she was barely a minor a couple years before. He was already a man who wanted marriage and kids of course. Nina wanted to enjoy her peek in adult hood and wanted to enjoy her career. They split and Ian was ready a year later for marriage with nikki. The reason why I love Ian and Nina is because of how mature and how much love they have with one another. She’s really good friends with them while she has a bf of her own. I think us the fans need to have respect for them.
