Really like your videos 👍. Informative and to the point. Question: keeping your ipad pro 13 M4 limited to 80% charge and continuously keeping it charged does it decrease battery health faster than not having it connected after reaching 80% ?
That’s awesome! I have the Ultrafine you’re replacing and it’s still a great monitor, but the speakers suck. Bet this Studio display has great sound! Hey, does that CofD game have a single player mission mode?
Nice. I’m enjoying your iPad productivity/professional content, so keep it coming. Curious why you don’t set your monitor directly in front of your iPad? It’d be better ergonomics and more comfortable, right?
It covers the bottom part of the ASD where the dock sits and it can be super annoying. Especially with the 12.9" version. But from the ergonomics perspective you're absolutely right.
If you buy any monitor at that price point, you are not "just getting a monitor". Other brands in that price point are either very expensive gaming monitors, monitors for photo and video editing, or all-in-one monitors like the ASD. If you just wanted an excellent monitor that could give you 95-98% of the screen quality (color wise), you didn't need to spend more than $2-500. You could even get one with VRR, like Gsync or Freesync 120Hz or higher. Pair that with a couple of Kanto YU2 or YU4 speakers, and you'll blow away the built-in speakers of the ASD. You'd also be able to connect several computers to one monitor.
I wanted this Setup some time ago, too. But there have been some problems. At that time you needed a Mac to update the Software in the Studio Display and you couldn’t use the built in Camera and Speakers instead of the iPd Ones. On top of that you couldn’t adjust Volume and Brightness without a Mac. Did this change or do you have a workaround?
Great content thanks. You can have 5 app in the stage manager on the left question can you tell me witch hdmi cable you use to get the full res on your display thanks.
I have an Apple Studio Display and I love it. I use it with a Mac Mini M4 with 24gb of RAM.

Oh wow!! What a great upgrade. Enjoy!!
I got this display for my M4 iPad. I used mainly for my admin tasks, gaming, and reference for my drawing. And yes I feel I am in the future.

I just received mine today, like you I was thinking of waiting for a refresh. Then I found out about the discount and that was that!

Does this display have a camera? If that’s the case, how does it work with your iPad? That should be great for video calls!
