This is what I have to say… Chelsea needs a Striker and leader as a Defender. The John Terry type of Player. We create lots of chances but cannot score. Stop blaming the referees and start looking at our own mistakes. Jackson deserves to be jailed for those missed chances, he's a good passer but terrible finisher. Palmer and Nkunku cannot shine from the far sides. If Jackson swapped with Nkunku, and Palmer played 10, with either Neto or Madueke on the right, maybe our attacking would be sharper. Also, Enzo Fernandez is not a no. 10, he should be rotated alongside Caicedo and Lavia. We should only start 2 out of the 3.

Should have left Lavia on the pitch. take out enzo for Madueke and move palmer to central to be supported behind by caicedo and Lavia.
With Neto and Madueke on the wings. Our play would have beem more direct and fierce attacking. We wouldn't have conceded that second goal.

Enzo can be a bit slow at times and when chasing a game and we are not in control, it would have been better to have Lavia and Caciedo there and let Palmer have the freedom he needs. You can sub a player and them not be playing badly

Nah Chelsea played well very unlucky. Gusto needed a better cross, Enzo was class but can score more goals. Jackson creates a lot of chances for us. Wow how do we drop lavia. Cucu was good but Savio was on him. I loved this performance against champs. We held our own. Colwill can be slightly more aggressive but a good player. Wesley did well. I think you're being kind. I like that. Gusto needs to do a lot better. Enzo miscontrolled those two great chances. Jackson needs to be thinking more like a striker. Should not be straying offside looking up the line of defenders. Lavio looks very good on the ball. Cucurella needs to be more consistent. Colwill and Fofana defended like school boys. We are in trouble if that's our center back pairing. We need a proper leader as a defender. It's sad that those boys seemed to learn nothing from Thiago Silva
Enzo Fenandez's control at the Final third was poor, although he played too adanced which is not his natural role but he can do better with his control. I would prefer an Nkunku playing that position rather than Nkunku playing wide. Better games ahead.
Enzo Fernandez has started 27 league games for Chelsea, we've lost more than we've won (P27, W9, D8, L10). In the 12 games he hasn't started we've shown title winning form (W9 D1 L2). He's literally going to relegate us you doofus

@@blundermoth4720 for most parts of the season we had Gallagher playing as a no.10 literally 1 of the least creative players in our team.. when Enzo got injured Palmer who is the most creative player in the squad was moved into the 10 and Cucurella inverted into midfield for balance because 'you know who' has very poor tactical awareness and positional discipline.. but most of yall only look who is playing instead of actually trying to make sense of what's happening on the pitch.. Enzo might have been poor last season cause he literally didn't fit into Poch's style of play but in this game he was the most influential player on the pitch even though I agree that he shouldn't play as a 10 or has to do better in the final third..

Enzo has to improve his first touch and has to play quicker more often. He calls for the ball but when he receives the ball it’s like he is surprised and miss controls it. He can’t play 10 unless he improves those aspects.

Enzo Fernandez is horrible in those attacking positions. He can't shoot, makes bad decisions, is too slow to react, horrible balance. Just look at that terrible first touch inside the box, there was no need to control the ball there with some many players around him. He needs to hit it first time but he is incapable of doing that. Pochettino started using him in that position at the beginning of last season but he continued to underperform and eventually moved him further back. Maresca is doing the same mistake, hopefully he is not stubborn and moves him back quickly. Also Chelsea had a good run of games when Enzo Fernandez was injured last season and the midfield became more solid. Unfortunately due to his unjustified massive price tag, Maresca is obligated to play him.

This entire strategy needs a rethink. The structured back line with two DMs pressing just means when the DMs are out of position, you can easily do whatever you want ahead of the back line, including overloading the middle for the first goal, or shooting from the top of the box for the second. Swap to a back 3, fill the center of the park and make use of the mobile CBs in Fofana and Colwill. Theyre wasted as RCB and LCB. And put Chalobah in the middle of them to tell them where to be. They both need an organizer.
Please let Enzo fight for jersey. I believe there are other players. Besides, he wasn't among the team that won the couple of games towards the end of the season.
