- Routine view of the Momotaro family going to work on the ground after seeing what it looks like indoors in the gorilla house.
Father Momotaro may have recently started to come out in the rain without hesitation.
Gentaro still comes out later when a different door opens. Then he returns immediately and seems to come out when his father Momotaro comes in. Dad Momotaro can hardly be seen anymore when he enters the shelter room.
He seems to play with Kintaro a lot, but visitors cannot see him at all.
When the indoor cleaning is finished, all but Gentaro come back.
After quite a while, Gentaro came back and got some beans from the feeder.
Lunch for the day was given indoors.
Gentaro probably got it in the shelter room?
It is difficult to take pictures indoors & in the rain. Would you like to see it?
Rainfall on the 28th was 3.5 mm at 8:00 a.m., 13.5 mm at 9:00 a.m., and light rain from 10:00 a.m. onward. The timing was bad because it rained heavily just at the time of breakfast.

The Momotaro family were all born and raised in Japan!
Momotaro (father) was born on Jul 3, 2000
He came to the Kyoto City Zoo in 2010.
Genki (mother) was born on June 24, 1986.
I was born in Kyoto and came back to Kyoto.

So many great scenes in this one. Gentaro at 9:50 is a hoot. He always does the zaniest stuff when he's trying to stay dry. Then there's the scene at 16:23 when Kintaro and Momo are both on their backs with their feet up.

They are so funny when it rains hard,and they run on 2 legs so fast, especially Kintaro, trying to get all the carrots, and when Gentaro is in a hurry running on 2 legs,he shakes his hands, cute and funny.
