"Konya Turizm Derneğince düzenlenen Mevlevî Âyîni Beste Yarışması münâsebetiyle İlâhî kudretin 1979 Ramazan'ında (15-19 Ağustos) yazdırdığı bu âyîn-i şerîf, 25 yıllık arkadaşım ve ustam Neyzenbaşı AKAGÜNDÜZ KUTBAY’ın (1934-1979) azîz hâtırasına ithâf edilmiştir."
Bu Âyîn-i Şerîf, Konya Turizm Derneği “Mevlevî Âyîni Beste Yarışması”nda Mevlânâ Celâleddin Rûmî Ödülü'ne (1979) ve Paris’teki “Académie International de Lutèce 13. Uluslararası Sanat Yarışması”nda Altın Madalya ödülüne (1981) lâyık görülmüştür.

“This music for the Mevlevi ritual whirling ceremony was written by the Divine Strength in the month of Ramadan in 1979 (between the15th & 19th August) for the Mevlevi Ritual Whirling Ceremony Musical Composition Competition organized by the Konya Tourism Association. It is dedicated to the dear memory of my close friend of 25 years, AKAGÜNDÜZ KUTBAY (1934-1979).”
This composition was awarded the Mevlânâ Jalâladdin Rumî Award (1979) in the Konya Tourism Association’s Mevlevi Ritual Whirling Ceremony Musical Composition Competition and the Golden Medallion award (1981) in the 13th International Art Competition of the Académie International de Lutèce in Paris.
