Well, this aged well. We're currently sitting in 9th, on 43 points. 9th! From dead and buried under Brucey, to close to a European spot. Ridiculous. Forget about the money, what Howe has done with the team he inherited is absolutely amazing. Aye we bought a few players in January, spending £90+M...But that's what you do. We spent a bit of money like any other club would do, and we've spent it well. But, the team Howe inherited...Look at what he's done with them. Joelinton. What a turnaround, one of my players of the season, and I wanted him to be sold in January. Unreal turnaround. "Nobody is gonna want to go to Newcastle, in a relegation scrap"... Trippier came in, who had just won La Liga. Helped us with some important goals. Bruno. What a signing he has been! Different class. Targett has been quality, at left-back. Big Dan Burn, solid. Onwards and upwards! Eddie Howe's Black & White Army! 💪⚪⚫🏁

As it currently stands Newcastle in the last 15 games have Won 10/Drawn 2/Lost 3 and are currently sitting in 9th place on 43 points and only 8 points off of Europe.
The only team to amass more points than Newcastle in that time is Liverpool.

Three or four signings in key areas and this is a good team with a manager that knows what he's doing, like Eddie Howe. They are already improving steadily with each game. They would already have four wins by now if not for some stupid individual mistakes.

although relegation would be a setback, it wouldn't be a disaster because they can afford the losses and keep paying the players they have even in the Championship.
