if anyone didn't realize, the mod uses the Sonic 2 sprites for both Sonic and Sonic.exe, making this a twist because instead of Sonic using Peelout to run faster, he uses the Spin Dash to speed, because in Sonic 2, the Peelout ability didn't exist, only on Sonic CD

the section of Knuckles and Tails is too short, and I don't think either of them want to sing after being murder by that bloody blue bastard, Tails especially.
Ok but here's the thing, I've wanted to know this for a very long time. In the original and first sonic.exe eom hack you play as multiple characters and sonic is evil and you know the rest. But the original sonic is nowhere to be seen. But here's the thing, there's no explanation. Like why is sonic evil? Is he possessed? What possessed him? When did it start? What happens to sonic.exe after he's defeated? Does he just die? And multiple mods have different stories but I just want to know what led to sonic becoming possessed in the first place and what did it. I also want to know what happens to sonic.exe after he's defeated. Is he just dead or is he waiting again? Yet this is an amazing mod, great job.
And yet through all the different takes on this song i have not seen a single mod where exe gets closer to sonic the lower your hp gets. It just seems so obvious.
