Are the sheep casing mixed with beef or pork products? I am looking for just sheep or lamb casing as I don't consume beef or pork products.

Unopened the natural casings are shelf stable. You can resalt them and place in the refrigerator after opening and should be used within a year.

Traditionally they are made with hog casings. You could also use a 32mm edible collagen casing.

for the collagen casing, how do I actually have it stick to the meat? After I cook my sausages, the skin tends to fall off after cutting.

Hello, for the natural hog casings, I soaked the entire package but only used half, how can I save and reuse the left over casings? Thank you

I'm not an expert, but I think you can put the casings in clean water, add non-iodized salt, and store in the fridge until they are ready to use.
