Seeing this live over 20 times, with various casts and in various cities, but also having seen many musicals on broadway and the West end, this is the most epic scene ever. Seeing it for the first time live is Just wow!

no other actor matches the chaos of this scene than Máté. he makes his presence felt, and genuinely fights for Elisabeth against Franz Joseph - the Elisabeth, meine Elisabeth part gets me every time... and his vocals always throw me off the bed
Exactly! This is so intense on so many levels. Máté plays it beautifully and the choreography and staging all goes hand in hand.

Every time that I see Der Tod drop the file and Lucheni take it, I can't help but think about the opening song and also think, "The contract is set".
Diese Besetzung ist einfach hammer. Pia Douwes und Uwe Kröger sind zwar auch sehr gute Darsteller, aber ich hab so das Gefühl, dass diese doch etwas besser ist.
Also meiner Meinung nach ist das der beste Elisabeth cast, den es je gab! *-*
Lucheni der Hammer (sein Blick und seine Stimme! *-* ) kein aderer kann mit Serkan mithalten

Ich habe "Elisabeth" schon seit der Premiere 1992 mitverfolgt, bin ein Fan der aller-ersten Stunde seit ich den Live-Mitschnitt der Premiere im Radio gehoert habe, habe das Musical im Theater an der Wien sicher hundertmal gesehen und obwohl Serkan toll ist kann stimmlich und schauspielerisch NIEMAND mit Ethan Freeman mithalten. Ethan Freeman wird immer der beste Lucheni sein, genau so wie Viktor Gernot der beste Kaiser war und Andreas Bieber der beste Rudolf. Ich mag Mate als den Tod, obwohl Uwe Kroeger die bessere Stimme hat, glaube ich dass Mate der bessere Schaupsieler ist - er bringt das erotische Element viel besser ein als Uwe, der eher kalt war.

Das Lied bleibt so im Kopf :o Vorallem, die Stelle an der Màté (der Tod) und der Kaiser "Elisabeth" singen... Überhaupt bleibt mir das wegen Màtés Stimme total im Gedächtnis xD
Serkan!!!!!! Du bist der Beste! Asche ZU AAASCHE! Sooo geil! Auch das "Hey, Lucheni, es ist soweit!" und Serkans Gesichtsausdruck ... oh mann, da möcht ich ihn am liebsten knuddeln! Da schaut er voll verzweifelt aus. *Serkan in den Arm nehm und ihn tröst* Aber das "Mörder" von Max (Elisabeths Vater) ist ja auch mal geil. So fragend. Aber wieso schreit er schon "Nein! Elisabeth!", wenn Lucheni Elisabeth noch gar nicht umgebracht hat? Wie auch immer, bestes Musical und beste Besetzung überhaupt!
Ich mag Mathe als Tod nicht, aber Serkan ist ist einfach beispiellos. "Asche zu Asche", Gänsehaut pur.
dieses lied.. eigentlich habe ich keine worte. epic. epic. epic. máté, serkan, maya. die besten.
Ich krieg immer Gänsehaut wenn die alle anfangen mit "Alle fragen sind gestellt" ich liebe dieses esemble! *-*

ich glaube elisabeth hört in ihren gedanken den tod und franz joseph streiten,deswegen hält sie sich sicher die ohren zu und ist ganz verwirrt.ich liebe das musical,hab mir sogar schon ein hintergrundbild vom musical geholt.PS:gänsehaut pur

@Shithabbens Ich glaube, es ist Franz Josephs Albtraum, weil der Tod ja auch direkt davor sagt: "Fragen Sie mich nicht." Deshalb denke ich, dass sich das mit dem Albtraum auch auf Franz Joseph bezieht, da Ellisabeth in diesem Lied ja gar nicht mit dem Tod spricht.
Serkan Kaya ist der beste Lucheni es gibt :D
erstaunliche Technische Leistung, würde gernene mal einen bühnenplan dehn :P

at 1:58 it looks like he realized he had to be standing there to represent the weight of the Hapsburg throne and empire weighting him down. Idk if that's the case but it is funny to me while the symbolism still looks cool!
