Hey Gary, I've got over 50 Royal palms in my parents gardens down here at Lazaro Cardenas Michoacan Mexico, all already over 15 meters tall, I planted them all after smuggling back like 2 kilos of little coconuts of this palm from a school trip I took like 12 years ago in Cuernavaca. We got so many little palms that we ended up selling and gifting a lot of them. Also I've seen that as there are already many large and stablished specimens in the city, there's a growing wild population of these palms in the mangrove areas, and abandoned coconut plantantions and the subtropical jungle surrouding the city, but only recently those palms are beggining to be noticeable as they're starting to emerge from the canopy and man the sight is gorgeous! I love this palm!
Oh my gosh. That is such a fantastic story you need to send me pictures! Maybe I’ll put all your pictures together and make a video. Or maybe you can share some video introducing yourself and showing all of that off and somehow I can put it on my channel. Great story. Thanks for telling.
That is a really delicious, tough hardy one called Corriente. We have those for sale most of the time and next summer We should have some grafted types available as well.
@ It’s the people that start the conversation with, “can I help you? “ That bother me. Didn’t shave that day, pulled on the jeans with the hole, standing there staring at their landscaping. You know what I mean. 😵💫
you should try spraying milk for powdery mildew I go to Aldi and get the cheapest milk they have, put it in a hose sprayer set on full, to dilute it That way you can spray even the bigger trees seems to stop it in it's tracks

GG have you ever been misidentified as a homeless person by someone in your plant-adventures? I know I have…...
Most people are too polite to tell you that, but I'm sure.
