that was pretty good to watch, I jus got the 2.5 still in the break in phase but its winter here on the east coast but the father in lax owns a huge rock quarry so I'm excited to go out there and try it out, and I think he might be excited to give it a try aswell, I also bought the wife an elerictic RC truck and she was like ohh yay thanks, but once I dragged her ass outside to actually try it, I believe I made her a fan of RC trucks she really enjoyed it, now its time to work on our son get him into it get him away from watching Netflix lol, much enjoyed your video buddy
Why it not shifting is common in the transmission there's a shift screw & in the. Transmission there is a gear that controls it to shift if you go in there & that little screw is gone or falling out
One way I clean em is I pull the engine all electronics and the tank clean the engine electronics and tank with contact cleaner cow rc makes some really good cleaning products....also remove the tires so they don't fill with water you can spray the truck off with low pressure water and soap it up and scrub rinse like so try not to directly hit any bearings spray all the metal parts with silicone spray like moo slick or you can use we 40 and wipe down reassemble and boom
Hey Edgar any reason why my tmaxx starts jerking when It comes to a full stop .. it begins to jerk forward sometimes it even drives on its on witch causes Me to continously hold down the brakes
@@GoFastRC thanks for your replies . I won't turn you Into a traxxas representative lol my apologies... greatly appreciate your patience.. take care bro
Awesome video man! I wish yall lived near me I would set yalls trucks up perfect for free. From the shift points to the tune! I highly suggest to get a better fuel. Traxxas fuel is pure junk. way to much oil and dye. Terrible for nitro engines. Get some bones brew 30/10 off their website. Its way cheaper than the fuel traxxas rips people off with. You can buy 3 gallons for $97 shipped to your door. It tunes richer and runs a lot cooler. You said you tried byrons and sidewinder, those 2 fuels are very good but anytime you switch fuel you have to retune. Go back to factory setting and tune from there. byrons is no longer made so most people switched to bones which is outstanding. If you don't believe me join "nitro rc enthusiast" on Facebook. me and a lot of other guys are always willing to help people when it comes to nitro.
Thanks for the suggestion!! Me and my dad are really happy with how the traxxas fuel works though, it’s easy to tune and if we monitor temps we can get them down into the 230-240 range. But thanks for the comment, appreciate the support!!
Send it!! Great video 👍🏻
Appreciate the support!!
Epic!!! I loved the nitros and dubstep music
Appreciate the support!!

Appreciate it, i got more content coming! So cool you got the wife and getting the son into it!
Just ordered my 2.5 classic . So stoked
Nice man! I can’t wait for it to warm up here in Michigan so I can take the t maxx out. It’s too cold for my maxx too
Damn that sucks!! Here in Cali it’s like 50-60 daily, so it’s almost perfect nitro weather!!
Great video guys, what Body is ur dad have on his t Maxx?
Proline silverado body.

Your truck really has some pickup! What carb are you running in this video?

Sweet!!! Thanks for the support!!
how did you clean your t maxx afterwards? ive just bought one thinking if you plug the carb and exhaust can you just jet wash them down?
Um not really recommended to do that, i pull mine apart completely and clean it.

Does your hobby shop carry the gallon of traxxas fuel. It’s way cheaper then buying the quarts
We have tried looking and we haven’t found any so far. But I am sure that we will find one!! Appreciate the support!!
@@GoFastRC no problem dude.
I’ve been very fortunate to find a couple gallons of traxxas top fuel 20% at my local hobby shop in Montclair,ca.

Sounds like your idle is high, or your clutches in your transmission is bad. Try richening your low speed needle.
@@GoFastRC and my truck wants to shut off when my fuel tank is halfway empty
@@tjgetem3783 sounds like your highspeed needle is lean.

@@GoFastRC hey if it works for y’all that’s awesome! It’s good to see younger dudes enjoying nitro and not be 100% electric
Traxxas fuel is meh. It’s got too much oil. Other fuels are simply harder to tune but also got more performance
It needs to smoke.
Its a little hard to see on camera but there was smoke. Appreciate the support.
The older guys engine is in need of tuning. His low end sounds lean.
Thanks for the suggestion!! We will work on that!! Thanks for the support!!
