@@shippop Maybe you are copying the file over, then when you start Roblox it does an update and removes the file, so you need to copy the file over again.
For those who may not be aware, there is a useful feature called "exclusion" in Windows Defender or other antivirus programs. This feature allows you to specify certain files or folders that should be exempt from scanning or deletion by the antivirus software. However, in some cases, you may need to use a compressor like WinRAR to put the FPS Unlocker files into one folder before being able to select the entire folder to exclude. To use this feature, you may need to turn off your antivirus temporarily to avoid interference while compressing the files into a single folder. Once the files are compressed into a folder, you can then add that folder to the exclusion list of your antivirus software. By doing so, you can ensure that the FPS Unlocker won't be flagged or removed by the antivirus program during its routine scans. you SHOULDN'T make exclusions due to the fact viruses can detect where you put an exclusion and hide themselves in that folder/ area/ run within that area

Does tampering with the client manually trigger byfron? Not sure if byfron anti cheat only looks for injectors like the old fps unlocker or multi roblox.

I love how the new version of FPS Unlocker doesn't have to be in your startup whenever you try to boot your computer. In fact, it increases your FPS a little better but on the other hand, you should worry about it as well. You sometimes could get an error like me certain times for days saying that your Roblox Client App unexpectedly behaves in a wrong situation. It's a common problem and it could have something to do with the servers themselves so be patient and eventually, they will work as find as usual.
Depending on what version of windows you use (10 or 11) The Storage Sense settings will look different but all you gotta do is go into the settings and tweak or entirely disable it to prevent Windows from deleting random stuff on your computer.

The developer dosen't seem to care about his program anymore, as he isnt updating it as much anymore, and it started to fail on me because it couldn't find task scheduler, I understand how that works and it sucks because I want smooth fps. The worst part is I forget about it because sometimes I load it up and it works fine but then when i turn off my pc and turn it back on again it fails completely. This really helped, thanks. Edit: If you're experiencing an issue with the file deleting itself remember that roblox deletes extra files put in there when roblox updates. Its normally the version that changes, and the "updates" are probably roblox refreshing it's servers to make sure nobody puts anything bad in the roblox file, and sometimes there is an actual update that can change the version. So make sure you make a copy of the file, its completely normal if it does that.
same, since like 4 days, the fps unlocker keeps telling me that it cannot find task scheduler, i tried deleteing it, redownloading, etc, nothing works so its pretty upsetting.

For those that dont get the backup thing, every sunday roblox updates the game and when they update it they reset the files so if you made the steps and someday its not working is because they updated roblox and you have to this again or backup it (sorry for bad grammar or bad explication i kinda suck at english)

I recommend changing the file to read-only in the file properties. My file got deleted, if it’s on read only the computer can’t change the file if that makes sense
json is also used for an alt enter fix ( true fullscreen), i dont think it is bannable as i have been using it for months if you do want true full screen adding in "FFlagHandleAltEnterFullscreenManually":"False" between the brackets can do so

I think it's the best method because Roblox can't find out that you unlocked the FPS limiter, and that's because you messed up with the programming files in your computer and not with the Roblox Platform. the rbxfpsunlocker by axstin suddenly stopped working for me, so i just decided to find a new unlocker instead of waiting for a new release to come out. joined a game after doing the steps in the vid and my fps were high asl!! thanks man, i can now sweat to the fullest in weaponry
6:55 actually it's the same as roblox studio's render quality option, which is from level 1 -> 21 which is exactly like the old graphics level 1 -> 10, its just having more control over the render quality

I set this up and it worked perfectly, everything was good, until roblox got a new update, it just doesnt work anymore, i've tried everything, reinstalling it, checking if i typed in the correct file name, looking if i didnt accidentally delete something in the code, but it just isnt working anymore, maybe its because of roblox's transition from 32-bit to 64-bit but i have no idea how to fix it. if you have a good pc (I mean graphics card) (DO NOT KEEP THE FPS TO UNLIMITED doing this will heat your computer to hundreds of degrees of farenhight but if you have a normal pc that doesnt get 300 fps then you can keep it, if you have a really got computer change the fps to 120 it still will be extremely smooth

For the first day I was super impressed with this, because not only did it increase my fps value, but it also brought down my ping for some reason... But it's been 4 days since I've gotten the unlocker, and I uninstalled it just moments ago because for some reason, it makes my roblox client quit on its own at random times, generated lagspikes from time to time, as well as increased my ping by like 200 for the last 3 days (No, its not my internet that was causing the ping, I did think it was at first, but immediately after I joined a game after I disabled the unlocker, my ping got lowered by 200) I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this problem, might be my pc.. Idk.. Edit: This is my opinion on the tool, no hate to Sharkblox, his video is awesome! Hell.. He even shows you how to get it yourself with a very clear demonstration.
It's so annoying when it closes my client without my permission but it's the best out there. I don't trust RCO and Axstin's unlocker is getting false positives.

I replaced the new oof sound file with the classic OOF sound for a couple of weeks and I didn't have any problems with ROBLOX ngl.

if you have a good pc (I mean graphics card) (DO NOT KEEP THE FPS TO UNLIMITED doing this will heat your computer to hundreds of degrees of farenhight but if you have a normal pc that doesnt get 300 fps then you can keep it, if you have a really got computer change the fps to 120 it still will be extremely smooth

For the first day I was super impressed with this, because not only did it increase my fps value, but it also brought down my ping for some reason... But it's been 4 days since I've gotten the unlocker, and I uninstalled it just moments ago because for some reason, it makes my roblox client quit on its own at random times, generated lagspikes from time to time, as well as increased my ping by like 200 for the last 3 days (No, its not my internet that was causing the ping, I did think it was at first, but immediately after I joined a game after I disabled the unlocker, my ping got lowered by 200) I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this problem, might be my pc.. Idk..
Edit: This is my opinion on the tool, no hate to Sharkblox, his video is awesome! Hell.. He even shows you how to get it yourself with a very clear demonstration.
YES! FINALLY SOMEONES TALKING ABOUT THIS! Sometimes it quits my roblox client when im being teleported into a different game.
It's so annoying when it closes my client without my permission but it's the best out there. I don't trust RCO and Axstin's unlocker is getting false positives.

mine does the same. hopefully a video will come out about this soon, I've been using this sense he made this video and its been working just fine, but just recently my roblox started freezing, i didnt know it was cause of the fps unlocker.

For me, the old FPS unlocker used to e detected as a virus by my pc, but now works perfectly, after I had to download since RCO was crashing my roblox
I'd suggest removing this, it can crash your Roblox now (Probably after the Roblox menu update)

Fixed json code that sharkblox posted, the "," is not supposed to be there on the second value, It will error if its there.
There's also the option of completely nuking your temp folder clean.
