Awww such a sweet comment. We are very big on family at our home. I am also drawn to other YT'ers such as yourself that puts family first. You do an amazing job taking care of your family as well. Ahhh, the donut wall...it's funny what you can get yourself into when your imagination runs wild. What should have been a super duper easy task turned into something a little more complicated. I am glad that it all worked out.

I was a PTA member, but didn't do the school dances. But our Girl Scout troop was FIERCE! You should have seen our Christmas Parade Float and the parties we had. I so miss those days. Got me over here reminiscing :)

$250?! That's amazing! I'm currently planning a spongebob themed party for my boyfriend who's very health conscience so my biggest cost is food and alcohol. My goal is to keep it under $300 which is a challenge. I completely agree on the specialty candy that no one wants to eat anyway, I was stressing about finding a way for his favorite treats to match the tablescape so thank you for sharing these tips, so simple and so beautiful.

This is an awesome video! We usually spend around $300 on the first birthday party. It sounds silly because they're only turning one, but it's the last party for mom and dad. By that I mean our oldest two (10 & 4) have chosen their birthday party themes since they were two. Our youngest is only 5 months old, so her big party is coming up soon. But once they turn 2 we cut our budget (including food) down to $200 or less each birthday. This year we are doing a joint birthday party for the older two this weekend. Total budget was $250, but we ended up spending only $150. I DIY everything I possibly can and shop our home as well. I make greeting cards and various crafts for a living so I have a lot of DIY products at my hands at all times. Then I do most of the party shopping at dollar tree and 99 cent only stores. Food shopping for this one is easy because it's a valentine's donut themed party. "All you need is Love and Donuts". I thought the kid's would be against a joint birthday party because of the difference in age, but they are both really excited! Next year they both want to go to Knott's Berry Farm for their birthday in lieu of a party.

AGAIN YOU ARE AMAZING!! I live in VEGAS , Ive always worked serving cocktails and also a bartender . I have lived here since I was 18 and my Daughter will be 29 4/17/19 ( giving my Daughters age so you can understand HOW LONG I’ve been here and HOW much I’ve seen ) . With that said I know a lot of ppl and have always picked up different jobs bartending for private parties and weddings for catering companies that specialize in weddings and huge Corp parties. Trust me I’ve been around as far as working these . You HONESTLY HAVE MORE OF AN IMAGINATION , are classy offering more appeal to the eye then ANY IVE EVER DONE! That has always bothered me bc ppl spend up to 25k( I’m really low balling it saying 25k) and trust me can be more just depends on location , food etc. and they ALWAYS are lacking in the aesthetics.
Awwww, thanks for such a wonderful comment. I am always surprised at how much people spend on their private parties and weddings...it blows me away. With a little bit of creativity and some elbow grease, you can have a spectacular party for a fraction of the cost. So many of my daughter's parents think I spend thousands on their parties because, but I actually spend far less than they do. It is cheaper for me to host a party at home than to have a party at a bouncy house/trampoline type of place. Those types of parties can cost $30 per kid not including food, drink, gifts or invitations. Glad you enjoyed the video.

Awww thanks! I try to make good use of everything we have. I cannot believe how much folks spend on candy bars and no one eats the candy :) I don't think y'all ready to see how we talk to our children about boys, sex, dating, etc. We keeps it all the way real. My husband talks to them from the male perspective and I give them the female perspective. We make a great team when it comes to teaching the girl. The one piece of advice I can give to most parents is Whatever you feel comfortable or think is appropriate to discuss with your child.....ramp that up 100 times. Kids know/are exposed to waaaay more than we think they are :)

I Loved this video, everything looked wonderful and what I loved the most is that you try to make it affordable. I have 4 children ( a 18yr old daughter,14yr old son , 8yr old daughter and 3yr old daughter) and I am always looking for great ideas for their birthday party's. Three of my children's birthdays are with a month difference and I try to make them each at least a small party, I would love for you to make more of these videos. Im trying to spend under a hundred dollars for food, but unfortunately got to budget 50$, for food, i always usually buy stuff throughout the year to add to the themed parties so i save money, however it might not be a savings at all. But in the grand scheme of things i feel thrifty, cause im building apon my parties slow and steady i guess. I LOVE YOUR Creative idea's and i will be implementing them. I aspecaily love having one wow section of the house for decore and food!

Omg the final cost of your party 🎉 was amazing!!!! I did a party for my 10 year old son that wasn't nearly as elaborate as yours and it cost well over $1500. I promised myself I'd never do that again. Your budget, tips and trips are amazing! TFS!😊
Thanks, I am glad you enjoyed the video. Did you have the party at your home or at a rented venue? The most expensive party I did was for my daughter's 8th birthday. That was the first and only party we had at a venue. It was a cowgirl themed party and I just had to have the party at a farm complete with horse riding :)
Veri Keri I usually do home parties but this year we rented a pavilion at the park and had the game truck come set up for 2 hrs. It was a video game theme. I honestly went overboard on the treats and goodie bags. I had food catered. It was a good party but not worth the stress and expense. My son and the kids were happy with just the game truck 😂
