Well, back in 2003 I developed a psychosis because of taking too many drugs. I was put on antipsychotic medicine and my shrink told me I had schizophrenia. I had appointments each Tuesday for over 20 years. He told me I would never get healthy again. I became a zombie. My feelings vanished. I didn't take care of myself. My house became a mess and I hardly ever cleaned it. I ate like crazy because of the side effects and gained 30 kg. I had no feelings and everything was like a big blur. I even lost the ability to love my girlfriend. I slept 14 hours day and was always drowsy. And I was to be on those drugs for the rest of my life. Everything in my life was like being a zombie. Well, 8 months ago my shrink got sick and for 8 weeks I couldn't get my medicine so I had to contact my doctor and she referred me to a psychiatrist in order for me to get my medicine through her. At the time I went to her for my first appointment she told me after 10 minutes that I didn't have schizophrenia, I had a psychosis from the drugs. She wanted to get me out of my antipsychotic medicine to see if the psychosis was still lumbering behind the medicine. It is now 8 months later and no psychosis is to be found! I am completely out of my medicine now! And now comes the point! For about a week ago I wanted to try and listen to some new trance just to see if I would finally like it. HOLY FUCK! That medicine had numbed my ears and the only thing that could get me "high" was the classics. NOW, the classics PALE compared to the new stuff! I have NEVER experienced listening to music this way before. It sounds better than when I did E and listened to trance (which was amazing). But this new stuff is like I am rediscovering my soul again. I don't EVER want to go back to the classics which has been on constant repeat for the past 20 years. Listening to music again sounds better than on E. For the past three days I have been trancing from mornings unto late night. I've hardly had any sleep. I got around 150 tracks in my baskets on junodownload and beatport. I even started weightlifting, I've lost the 30 kg, I quit smoking and I love my girlfriend more than I ever did. I am so thankful for that psychiatrist. Can you imagine my life if my old psychiatrist never got sick? I was to be on medicine that made me sick, for the rest of my life. THANK GOD he got sick!!!! Well, that's my story. And to close this post I just want to say: Trance is a mystery, it cannot be explained but it can be felt. Trance is a drug with no side effects, hangovers or psychosis'. Trance will always feel like the first time it entered your ears. Trance will always give you goosebumps. Trance is a religion and people who don't like it will never understand how magical it makes you feel. Trance will NEVER die!

Dont let those classics be a mould to your past you need to let go and see them as a blessing to the beautiful new music we hear today because without them we wouldnt be where we are today. to me even until this day classics are still refreshing you just need to listen to whatever makes you feel good at the time so classics or not they will always be pure based on our emotions ✌️
Trance music is NOT a drug... It is an emotional journey that provides transcendental experiences if the composition is of good quality. It's literally in the name of the genre (Trance) ... Congrats on your recovery and as we have learned in the last a few years. "Тгusting the $Cl€NC€" in 2023 is just about the dumbest thing anyone can do.. . You dodged a bullet there...
i love how Gareth obeyed the original chord progression and didn't cut the beautiful harmony of this song (like we can hear in many contemporary edm reworks) great energy
