I've played this before, isn't too hard. Just pay attention to everything, the clocks, the stuff, you will notice if something is moved, missing, etc. I won on my 3rd try too!
I haven't solved it but i have completed it with one of my friend I can't handle the upstairs and downstairs alone he handled upstairs and I handled downstairs and the basement
