  • I'm very happy and greatful to be going into class with my second guide dog next week. However, I haven't been feeling this way all the way through. I've had to do some sole searching and real hard mental exercise to get to this point. Here are some tips on how you can get to this point if you're going through the same or simmilar struggles.

I know change is hard, especially big changes. I think in the long run this will be good for you and for Darcy. Good luck with the new dog.

Yes, it is going to be wonderful. There will be challenges along the way, but they shouldn’t be too bad.

You’re going to have a lot of dogs in your lifetime. You know you’re a guide dog person and Darcy doesn’t care so long as he’s loved and fed. He’s not dead which should make it easier.
