after a couple listens, ill say this album grew on me. all the songs i liked are Reputation, Lemon Tree, Cooped Up, Wrapped Around Your Finger, L/H Letter, Euthanasia, Wasting Angels and I Like You. a very personal album from Post that i can appreciate but i can also understand why people dont like it tho.
Wrapped around your finger - just felt like generic pop to me.. I like reputation, lemon tree, insane and euthanasia - - but half of these tracks felt like filler and that he could do better.
@@firstlast9846 post malone has always been a hit or miss artist, people dont expect an amazing project from him just amazing singles, which he failed to provide for this album
Did nobody else notice how Reputations sound carried into Cooped Up carried into Lemon Tree? Same with I Cannot Be into Insane. Same with Wasting Angels into Euthenasia into When I'm Alone into Waiting For A Miracle?? 🤯🤯
this album is the definition of studio interference. you can easily tell that this is a power struggle between post’s creativity and the label’s greed. it’s so disappointing, because the songs that he actually put a lot of effort into could’ve been an incredibly depressing, but beautiful album. what we got is still listenable and good, but imagine what it could have been.
Bruh I been seeing u in every review hating wit the exact same post lol relax stop acting like u know what he wants 😒 and have this energy to watch his recent interviews instead..
Everyone thinks their a expert on the “music industry”, labels, promotion, ect these days like please stfu bru u don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes just listen to the music smh
I love the entire album after a few listens. I don’t have an issue with his vocals as a artist due to the fact that I listened to Post Malone past projects. I have listened to various of artist for the past 20-25 years from Dr. Dre and Snoop to Post Malone and Drake. I sometimes listened to old music from different genres. The music is changing every year. Artist touch on various genres in one song, that is completely insane. But thats how some artists make their music today. I can tell that you don’t like the trap rap music. You like an artist who is original to their craft. There are very few who show that and it’s unfortunate. Trap rap music and pop/rap that are the safe songs to you will get radio airplay and many social media views.
Enjoyed the album, surprisingly the Doja Cat and Weeknd tracks (two biggest feats) were the worst tracks. Reputation is one of the best songs Post has ever made though same with love/hate letter to alcohol.
@@zebbhung5451 They’re the most streamed because of the popularity of who’s in the song, not the quality. Both songs are painfully boring and generic attempts at radio hits, probably made worse by the fact they could make amazing music together if they tried
@@ChuckGibbs39 you probably forgot that post malone is also a popstar lmaoo. You’re legit just a pop hater and can’t contain it. Just by this I know you hated better now and circles as well. Post can’t just go all out rap because he also has pop fans so chill your ass af.

Hey Meami! Just wanna say I watch you quite often and love all your content brother. I think you should do a reaction to Vinyl Days and Orville by Logic. Two new songs he put up.
I think musically this album is mostly pretty bad. Which is a shame because this is the best lyrics post has ever written. But the acoustic, singer/songwriter songs are no way near the level of a Stay, and the more hip hop songs are boring af. The poppier songs are no way near a Better Now. The instrumentals are soaked in reverb, Post is overusing that vibrato effect way way too much. But I’m happy he seems to be in a better place
As someone who has greatly enjoyed and listened to his past albums dozens of times, especially Hollywood's Bleeding, I was very disappointed by the mediocre sound of this record. I felt like there is almost a lack of drums and the pop and rap elements we were used to, and it sounded more rocky, dull, and dragged for me. It is missing these big hits his past albums had that go for 2 billion streams, that everyone instantly enjoys, like Sunflower. There is also nothing really memorable as Take What You Want with Ozzy Osbourne and Travis. This is like a record a half-arsed producer would come up with if he was told to make 14 generic, exactly Post-Malone-sounding Songs. Cooped Up is fun, but you can really see this argument in there. But music grows on you, so who knows. i mean, Posty has done his numbers and has already had all the success an artist could ever imagine, more than this actually, so maybe he just doesn't give a shit about numbers anymore and just does what he enjoys now. He seems to have tried the transition away from hip hop for quite some time now.
Def better Post albums but this had some joints that I could bop to.... 2k likes for PT.2
