@wildcatactual Ya I do remember him having that snowmobile accident. I think he started racing again after a few months. Anyway, glad you like the videos and hope you enjoy watching them.
And I had no idea Jacques has been racing THIS long. I saw him race in the NASCAR race at Road America last year. He has come sooooo close to winning only to have bad luck in the final laps.

00:42 thats the original 80's spark show on openwheel race ♥️🔥🔥 wow , thats why people get boring with european race bcz it just a derivative of indycar//cart openwheel race caf 😅🇺🇸🕊🕊♥️🔥Hallelujah
It was rather the american side, that started copying the tiny cigar-shaped boxes, that the european raced in. The first indycars was big bulky truck-sized lumbs.. But you do you, and the world moves along anyway
Same reason Emerson Fittipaldi had such a career in Indy/Cart.. The level of skill needed is lower than F1. So a retired and outdated F1 driver, have the chance of spending retirement in USA. Perfect example: Marcus Ericsson. Never had any show of talent, in Formula 1. But won the Indy 500
5:28 The left-rear tire changer, that's my dad!
Cool
The good old days. Gone forever.
Jacques Villenueve's (the uncle) only win and Alan Jones only time in a champ car. Wish Alan could have raced them some more. Good stuff, thanks!
Its Gilles brother or Uncle of Jacques.
Great racing! Go Alan Jones!!
great video !! thanks so much for posting this.
road america is such a great course
Forgot Alan Jones ran in CART!
The engines sound fantastic!
Loud n nasty

I hope to be working on the IndyCar coverage someday. I would say my dream job would be ESPN, but now I guess I have to say my dream job is Versus...

No Jaques was still a kid. This is Gilles brother
The Villeneuves and Road America, a good partnership...
I live in Cincy and have been to Road America between 10-15 times. It is the best.
You're thinking of this Jacques' nephew, with the same name, who is the son of Jacques older brother Gilles.
Real racing,real drivers
I don't remember this race, but I would have been there, I was 4 and we would have been at turn 5.
@VictorySaber5 Those mid-1980's F1 cars were really nice looking too. Very clean looking compared to today's F1 cars.

Well done...gooooood memories
Yes plus Derek Daly.
Indy Car can rise again as long as us fans support it and hopefully the people in charge will get proper engines and chassis.
Essa não é a pista de Laguna Seca no Estado da Califórnia?
@patriot41000 Glad you like the videos. As far as a service to society, maybe the racing society instead.
Road America rules!

Do you have the 1982 race? It would be really awesome if you could upload it!
Bruno Giacomelli 😍
Sorry I don't have the 1982 race.
@champcar4ever exactly Champcar!

silly - lotus 56 competed in 1969 and 1970 series
Foi a primeira transmissão na BAND, com Edgard Mello Filho na narração! Favor postarem com a narração em "Português-Br".
Packed!!
ver very clasic
How come rayhal never raced in f1?

V8 NA Sound!!
Except it was mostly Ford-Cosworth DFX engines.. which is turbocharged
You can easily hear the turbo engine, when Emerson Fittipaldi comes into view, near the end of the video
