ALSO! I made a mistake in the video. We can't get fletchers since there is no way to craft the fletching table without gravel. So the part about getting tipped arrows from fletchers is actually impossible, my bad. So I guess really the only cool thing we can get from Hero of the Village is the stone tools.

Island name: Island of the promise of 1000 days
I find it very funny that the reason the video took so long to come out was cuz Mog and Hobby were binging One Piece.
I took around a school year when I was 16 to catch up to Zou which was the newest arc at the time. I remember being worried about the quality dropping, but then around the time I graduated Wano came out. The art style has made up for the diluted episodes a lot.
@@RobertMcBride-is-cool For about 10 years I said I'd never watch One Piece cuz it was too long and the art style looked weird.
During the pandemic I sat down and watched everything up to the raid in 2 months. I've made the OP art style my own, and I make One Piece content on RUclips now.
It's been great and I ate my words.

I'd say we sleep less than half of all nights. But we did do a lot of farms and building in this episode that got super dangerous at night due to mobs, and honestly sometimes sleeping ends up being faster than potentially getting your work blown up by creepers haha

By the way, I was curious; you and Hobby never made a single shield, despite encountering so many hostile mobs. And I'm pretty sure all it takes is a few planks & an iron ingot.

Mog and Hobby, i have to thank you. After watching the previous episodes i got inspired and created my first superflat world on Bedrock edition ( in bedrock superflat worlds are always structurless). I created in this world in April and even though am playing it alone ( i don't have many friends) im enjoying this experience so much, much more than any other Minecraft worlds! Im not a great builder but thanks to this "new" world am learning many things to get better at it. So i wanna thanks you two for inspiring me to this fun way of playing my favourite game :D !
YO, using your dripstone under some mud, you can get clay! While I'm not sure if you could cook it for terracotta/bricks, you'd have a new Grey block for faux-stone in your mountains :DD

I’m so glad that this series is back. When I finished watching 400 days and realized there was no 500 days and it had been a while since the last video, I thought it meant that it was over. Today I saw this in my recommended and I was so happy!

As a note about not being able to use pots for coconuts: now that you have a dripstone farm, you can!
By placing mud on top of a dripstone block and dripstone it converts it into clay, which you can smelt into terracotta or break down into clay balls that can be smelted into bricks. That way you can make flower pots, decorative pots and brick blocks.
There's no stone to make furnaces

I tried watching other mincraft series but theres nothing compared to this honestly. I love the way you narrate and the creativity of u and hobby. I love the room names like the noisy caverns, pig pit pass. Such creative fun stuff. Love it

Here's a weird thing you could potentially accomplish:
-Have an Iron Golem kill a villager (IIRC villagers set off fireworks during a raid. If the firework goes off on a low ceiling and damages the Iron Golem, it will kill them).
I’ve been in a really rough spot lately, and when I found the Just Dirt series it was a really nice distraction from all of the bad things going on in my life. Today was especially rough because I got sick on top of the health problems I’ve been having, and I was mostly secluded to just lying in bed with nothing to do. When I saw this episode had come out, it was a massive comfort and kind of felt like a sign that there are still good things. Thank you Mog, Hobby, and this awesome community 🥰
And as for a name for the island, maybe The Hopelands :) making an incredible world out of nothing, it seems fitting

Hey Mogs there is actually a way to get lava, you might want to be careful not to break the game though. You have to backdate the game to the april fools update where you can vote and have different things happen. You then have to get the bouncy house one that takes you to the moon. There is something up there where if you step on a pressure plate lava will spawn in, you need to be fast or else the lava will despawn since you're on the moon, after that just go back to "earth" change your game version back to normal and you'll have lava.

You guys should name the island HM03. It's both of your first initials and HM03 is a Pokémon reference for Surf which allows you to navigate over water. Your island is surrounded by water and you have to go through the water to get anywhere.

All coming from the fact you started pretty much on flat wasteland (And everywhere you look you see just a flat horizon, hence "Flatline") where there is just nothing, and began to create such beautiful things, making it "Paradise"
For when you do a water world 100 days, I have a set up that's worked really well: Set the biome to plains, use a bonus chest, and give yourself a single grass block. That way, passive mobs can spawn and you can eventually get wood. I think it's the least world modification you can do to have a full experience.
41:30 the resort sounds like a good name, the island looks like a good place to go on a vacation, also "expending the resort" and "returning to the resort" has a nice ring to it

For the purposes of the museum: it is actually possible to get an invisibility potion here. In order to do it, you need to kill a wandering trader while it's drinking an invisibility potion (they drink invis potions at night) it has a 10% chance to drop the potion.

This moment made me think about clay from mud. if you place mud above dripstone you can get clay. It might be a nice block to mix up with stonewool. Anyways I thought you could get bricks that way but you cant smelt the clay :(

You can't get masons without stone, and you can't smelt the clay without stone either.

Grindmoore(a joke name, but it fits, due to 'moore' meaning open land or bog, which the water can look like, since there's no swamp)
