- Hi guys! My name is Pete. I have been working as a barista for 10 years. In this vdo, I just wanna share how I work with a team through morning rush in Melbourne to share how to get things done nice and quick and continuously. It includes multitasking skill, organizing skill, good workflow, milk texturing skill, and latte art. I hope it's useful for new baristas. Have a good day!
A very satisfying watch. I am always fascinated by how baristas work behind the counter. 😊
Thank you so much! Appreciate it!

You make some fairly decent latte art mate. Considering how busy it was, you & the team pulled it off like nothing.
Yeah, we always help each other as a great teamwork! Thanks for watching!
Wish I could work in a place like this...😢
I wish you find one soon!!

Hey, may I ask which camera do you use?
Like your work 👍
Gopro 11 Black. Thanks a lot!!
this is hard job
It's pretty hard at the beginning, but after you gain enough experience and get use to it you'll be fine.
if i dont mind asking, whats in the cup at 13:25 ?
That's chai leaves (mixed spices) for the menu "Chai latte". We brew it few minutes and steam together with milk. It's one of the popular non coffee drinks in Australia.
Illit!!
😆😆😆
nice job. but sad to see so much milk wasted from the left over.
cool thanks
If you've experienced a cafe workflow like this you'll know it's essentially impossible to avoid wasting milk. Cup sizes vary, foam quantity varies from drink to drink, but you always need the right amount of milk in the jug to allow for good steaming technique. Furthermore, it's very hard to pour good latte art if you're running out of milk in the pitcher by the time you reach the end. All of this means you will almost certainly waste at least a small amount of milk with every single sit-in pour. Takeaways are different as you can just dump the milk in the cup without worrying about the pour, but due to pitcher size vs cup size, you might not necessarily have a pitcher that can pour the exact amount of milk you need for the number of drinks you're pouring.
What is your camera name?
Gopro 11 Black 👍
Brother may i know the pay rate please
Pay rates for barista in Australia are vary. It depends on the shop you get a job, your experience, and what position you get. The range is around $23-$35/hr on weekdays
don't waste the milk😢🥛
We didn't
And imagine I do all of this alone 😂😂
@@gladwellthandontimbane2039 that's gonna be crazy!! 🤣

cafes not hiring me :(
Keep improving yourself and keep trying to find one. I hope you can do it!
Мне одной на это больно смотреть ? Я понимаю , что работа на поток , но блин , положение паровика неправильное , зона гостя на чашках и стаканах.....
Корица это вообще жесть , зачем так много еще и сверху .....
Everything in the vdo was alright. Otherwise I'm not gonna post. If the position of the steam wand wasn't correct, then no way I could do latte art from that milk.
How much coffee do you use a day?
around 9-10kg
