Honestly this was one of the best looking games of that time, where it played stood or not, you have to give credit to the Atmosphere it made the player feel surrounded in, it’s amazing
I am hoping I can make a 1st person shooter like this for my university degree. Also I think this game still looks graphically gorgeous today, and I have a weird fasination with this game, especially the default gun you have throughout the game, it looks like a miniature Railgun and I love it's design.
I play this game for the first time in this year (2020). And oh my god, the graphic is freakin awesome, its like a 2020 games. Decima engine is really good.

Say what you will about the campaign/story, this game, to this very day is still one of the most impressive display of graphics out there on any console and it's a 7 year old title.
Almost 10 years later, and this game's graphics are still cutting-edge. When someone like me who's primarily a PC gamer says that... you know it's no joke! I have a massive amount of respect for the engine/tech guys behind this game. They knocked it clean out of the park.
Looks pretty cool! It looks like they have improved the melee system even more! And added some new weapon features! Really cool! I can't wait to try this game out!

Makes me remember back when basic smoke fire and blood effects were considered decent/acceptable . The cut scene where you fly in is the best thing about the clip , actual gameplay though is on par with Halo 3 . There's 10x as many effects going on in the gameplay vids of Halo Infinite LOL.

as for me, i really love how pc has ultra high graphics settings for games... but i just cant afford to catch up with the hardware... so im partly a hardcore console gamer too. i dont hate either side... i'm on the side of the fun and the games... XDDD... happy life
its sad cause, it had the potential to be so much more, with the isa on the run from the helgast, out numbered and alone and all they could have made it really pull at the heart strings, and made it into an epic tale of survival, or even added in a few choice mechanics that made you really take a personal role in what was happening (like in the walking dead)

He means it could be just running on more powerful, PC hardware. Lots of games do this. For promotional footage, they'll show a console game running on PC just to make it look better. Uncharted did this to make the game look like it was 60 fps. It's possible this is the case for PS4 games, since they haven't shown off the console yet.
When i typed the list of genres i tried to sumirize what CAN NOT be done on a console. The only game you listed that can be done on console but is a pc exclusive anyway is Arma 3 ( and 2 ) All other games you mentioned are simulators that are on PC because they simply can not be done on console. If it was possible on console, if the community for it was there, there would be no hesitation by the devs to make it a multiplat
Had Sony released this as a launch PS5 game with HDR, Ray Tracing, 4K and 60FPS, I would have pre-ordered a PS5 in an instant. Looks better than any of the 5s or X's launch games.

I agree, there's no competition when it comes to playability of FPS with mouse/keyboard, but then you're also missing out on a more immersive experience. A controller gives feedback that a mouse/keyboard can't provide, as a result you feel much more immersed with a controller for any genre of gaming. But I suppose some PC gamers are incredibly competitive so this won't matter.
i play both pc and console and your right, pc is of course better, but you need to update it every once in a while console is great because you dont need to worry about the capability of your rig, and you can just start playing
@ felony, I am of the opinion that this started as a ps3 project but was upgraded to a ps4 project when they figured out the release window of the console. However you are outside of your frickin mind if you at all believe that this could've been done on the ps3 without serious downgrade of the visuals, assets, framerate, resolution. The city would have a fog around it, it would have a color filter like kz 2 & 3, and the smoke and particle effects would be seriously downgraded.
Now xbox reveal new generation trailer, i came back to remember the first time i saw gameplay on current generation and was moved by its beauty. And it appears that its has been surpassed a long ago. Progress amazed me

Anyone heard or read anything about this regarding KZ3? I'd really love this game if it runs smoothly and a bit more faster paced than the previous game.

Depending on the pricetag I will actually consider a console for the first time since SuperNintendo. Considering that the graphicscard alone that I would need costs about 400Bucks + PSU.
Look at all the praise Metal Gear Solid got on PS1 when it played EXACTLY like the 8 bit Metal Gear. Or how GTA3 was marveled at when it was no different from GTA2 Or how developers let their games trail along at 20fps for long periods of time that causes abysmal controller latency just to add more eye candy. Graphics don't make a bad game good or even worth playing but they are very much important in adding to the atmosphere and are worthwhile. Of course some games don't rely on atmosphere

One of the best FPS for last generation
It does drop in fps. In order to run at 1080p natively, one of the drawbacks is frame rate dropping.
