RIP to Justices Ginsburg and Scalia. No matter what side you were on politically, both Justices lived their lives with dignity and grace. Despite their fierce ideological differences they formed a strong friendship and always treated each other with respect. They were the model of how we should get along with those we don't agree with. I hope their lesson does not die with them.

This is what politics should be. Different political views but it doesn't obstruct a friendship. I wish more politicians could be like these 2 amazing people and also people like McCain. Shared different views but still had friendships with other politicians. Rest in Peace

October 1st 2020: Both Scalia and Ginsburg have died... and a clerk to the former stands to become the next SCOTUS justice. The political landscape is extremely polarized, with at least half the country wondering/hoping that whomever gets appointed, upholds the constitution above all else...

Jesus Christ, she and Scalia got along while disagreeing fundamentally on their judicial philosophies. Can't people who's biggest issue is that the they show up one day every 2-4 years and just vote for different people get along too? Everything is so fucking personal.

While I never, If ever agreed with RBG on her decisions. I loved how she and Scalia were the perfect examples of how to act concerning differing views . They attacked the ideas and not each other, a lesson current politicians could use in today’s climate.
