Celebrates by crashing the economy into a technical recession with the help of the RBNZ, sends thousands of Kiwis into the unemployment queue or overseas and then bashes the beneficiaries for being unemployed when National created the recession and the additional unemployment (Note: a capitalist society requires unemployment anyway, i.e. its not the unemployed's fault). Simply inhumane. Where is the UBI or govt guaranteed jobs or free training like in some Scandanavian countries.
The narcissistic neoliberal National party needs to be made unemployed.

With respect, this demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of economics and what this Government is trying to achieve. The removal of tax deductibility on interest costs means I have NOT increased my rents which I would otherwise do to cover my increased costs, just as any business would do. Indeed, I have reduced my rents because of removal of tax deductibility. Needless to say my tenants are very happy.
