Great info - I enjoy working out at the YMCA daily and enjoy golf once a week- both legs hadTKR in the last 18 months. No problem with either recovery. More harm then good…….if I use the low impact Precor walker for 20 minutes followed by 10 minutes on the treadmill then 10 minutes of light weights. Thanks

It's interesting what you say about rotation, basically stretch a lot so I rotate more in the hips and put less pressure in the knees? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS. thanks for the video.

@@Par4Success Hi! how professional! I was just hoping for a quick question right here on the chat, hope you can help ;)
      Story:
I had a motorcycle accident and I partially tore my leading knee ACL. One half is fine and my own, the other half is an Allograph.
Surgery was 3 weeks ago, it all went well, the rest of my knee is in good shape.
I hit low 90´s, some times i break 90. I am 33 and amateur golfer, so no insane speeds or force behind my shots. I am youngh-ish and I tend to recover quickly from surgeries (I had many others because of the accident)
So, given the type of tear, given that I am an amateur playing for fun and not exerting insane forces:
      QUESTION:
When could I realistically return to golf? (with cart, and playing front tees and half swings).
I am in therapy now and will continue as long as the doctor says. I will also work on stretching exercises to give my upper body more turn power without putting pressure on the knees.
Any insight would be wonderful! thanks for taking the time

I play golf max 2 rounds over weekends...I had bi lateral tkr in December 2021..had a Suture line issue in left knee, which resolved with Linzolid ( antibiotoc)..Since left knee is my lead knee, it was quite worse off at time of Surgery..even now I feel.pain, stiffness after playing golf, though swelling is not much...My knee X Ray says Clinically best / excellent knees...however i feel pain while scaling down or climbing down stairs ..while I feel less pain while climbing up the stairs.. Is it muscular or something to do with the prosthesis..Request for your insight and advice, please.

Hi Chris. I listen to you whenever you are on PGA radio (SiriusXM) Just had total knee replacement on October 10. Right knee, I'm a right handed golfer. So at what stage should I do the assessment. I know have a ways to go. My last posted handicap was 13.9 prior to surgery. I have worn a knee brace for almost two years prior to surgery. My lowest handicap was 11+. I'm fnding since my surgery that my right foot was turning in because of my knee coming off the bone. Hello, that's why my aim was so off. So, hopefully, that will take care of itself. By the way, I'm a female, 69. Really want to get my game back. Before the knee brace, I worked out regulary. Rowing machine, circut stuff. So, I can be agressive. Looking for some feedback.

I had a parcial ACL Tear on my left knee (leading knee, I am right handed). So I have part of my original ACL and then part is a cadaver tendon. I am in therapy right now. How long should I expect before returning to golf?
I am an amateur by the way, hitting low 90's. I'd like to return to play as soon as possible (I can wear a brace no problem) and I would start from the front tees and half swings.
Any insight on my case? (I know it depends on many things, so just a general idea)

Sorry you missed all the information, here's a recap: Ensure you have enough rotation in your hip, shoulder, and thoracic spine (the assessment will show you how much rotation you should have). If you aren't able to rotate enough, work on mobility in those areas aren't able to rotate in so you aren't compensating and straining your knee (which shouldn't rotate). After you have enough mobility, focusing on driving force through the ground and posting up! Let me know if you have any questions!

Love Please can you give me some proper really golf news. I’ve had 9-10 knee surgeries, 4 shoulder surgeries, two elbow surgeries, one ankle surgery ( that started ruining my life ), when I was 13-14. I’ve had two back surgeries L5-6, two new hips. I used to be an 8 handicap. I know I’m not going too that level again. But I’m struggling getting my hips too move at the right time??? Oh, I’ve a dropped foot on my left side. Which really does give me a weak left side that I kinda don’t trust at the moment, too keep me up.
Do you have any thoughts or suggestions as to what I can do to help me???? Thanks For your time. 🙏❤️🤷‍♀️🫶🇬🇧
