Another wonderful piece of artwork. Your Echoes/Pink Floyd video brought me to your channel. That's another fantastic job. I'm almost 60 yrs old, so our musical tastes are quite different, but that's what keeps music fresh & evolving. I do have some suggestions for background music to some other videos. They are not instrumentals, but any vocals are very sparse. I've put the genre the song comes from to help you decide. Bela Lugosi's Dead - Bauhaus (goth/post-punk/new wave/alternative) Music for Airports - Brian Eno (ambient/expirimental) Android Rebellion - Black Uhuru (reggae/dub) I Dreamed A Dream - Sonic Youth (punk) Reumbeuy Bandung - E. Koestyara & Group Gapura ( Indonesian Folk Music ?) Birth - Philip Glass {(Original Soundtrack to Koyaanisqatsi) I'd pay to see that entire album done} Let X = X - Laurie Anderson ( New Wave ??) In the Future - David Byrne ( Score from the Theatre Show -- The Knee Plays ) Elephant Talk - King Crimson ( Rock-Jazz Fusion-Frippertronics ??) Some of my selections defy a specific genre. And most were released in the late 1970's-1980's. I tried to choose songs of every possible style of music, where the vocals do not take center stage. Although some choices do have vocals, or spoken word, throughout the piece. I do enjoy watching your videos & do love your work. As an old man (60+ yr old) I thought you might enjoy making this video art to background music you have probably never heard before. Since every piece came off a full length album, you might enjoy a different song more than my choice. At the least, you'll get the chance to listen to some music you haven't heard, or even heard of. Perhaps, I'll get lucky & get to see another art Video too. Thanks again for posting. Good luck brother.
Hey, I was really obsessed with koyaanisqatsi, and naqoyqatsi, through like 2012-2015, smoked DMT and watched it a few times. lol. I like the music suggestions thank you, I'm 33. Philip Glass is very good, I don't know any of the others (besides sonic youth) I'm kind of music obsessed in general, and I'll give your songs a listen to but I'm probably going to stick with my own choices, each song I choose has a ton of meaning to me and I've got a lot to go through. The next song I'm doing is probably this ruclips.net/video/3-f7zsW7EV4/видео.html or this ruclips.net/video/QdnX8-HDgaY/видео.html "Thanks again for posting. Good luck brother." Thank you so much man, and I'll just say some schizo shit real quick for the hell of it, because its true, but if you stick around another 5 years you'll live forever brother. A.I. is incredible and it's growing exponentially, externalizing the mind into silicon will allow us to discover everything and anything, great times are ahead, we've all got front row seats, stay healthy man. cheers.
@@HuemanInstrumentality Right on brother. I'm working my way through the videos you have done & haven't been disappointed. I've always enjoyed listening to "obscure" music & figured if I gave you enough choices in different styles, you may find one that's perfect for what you are doing. I was very impressed with your work on Echoes. If you choose not to try any of the music I suggested, at least you've had the opportunity to broaden your musical repertoire. There are no hard feelings. And if it turns out that you do like one of the tunes/bands ?? I'm glad I was able to turn you on to a few. I was also hooked on Godfrey Reggio's Koyannisqatsi film, when I first saw it in the theatre. That was my introduction to Philip Glass & then his album Glassworks. I saw the sequel Powaaqatsi & bought that soundtrack also, but it doesn't compare to the first movie, IMHO. Good luck, have fun, & keep it up. I am anxious to see your latest projects. If you have any ??, or I can assist in any way, please do not hesitate to ask.
@@johnspence9718 have you seen the 3rd movie Naqoyqatsi? oh man. I think that one is on par with the original... I mean, I just like to sit there and imagine the message it's trying to give, but, I like to do so in the context that this guy might know we're in a simulation or something, or that he might be in the illuminati lol, just some guy who is vastly more aware of the true nature of reality than I am and is trying to give that information through the video content he created. It leads to a lot of creative thoughts in my head whether or not they were true, it's what made me like watching those movies so much especially high back in the day. Yes I'm always working on a project, I used to be doing 6 at any given moment but Google Colab increased their prices like 20 fold, so I have to do everything on my own GPU now. So the upload rate is far less these days. Also since this is my job I often need to use my GPU for work projects.
@@HuemanInstrumentality Right on brother. I've got to take off right now, but I did not know there was a third film. I caught the 2nd & know why the 1st was made. The 1st caught such commercial success he made the sequel. But I wasn't as impressed with movie #2. I guess that's because movie #1 was SO DIFFERENT from anything else being done at that time. Even the expiremental, art films couldn't touch it. I look forward to checking out movie # 3, the stuff on your site, & actually reading your full replay ( & checking out the links you provided.) It's always great to connect to a kindred spirit. Have a Happy Thanksgiving brother. Jpx5
@@johnspence9718 I hope you have a happy thanksgiving as well man : ) yeah that third movie is crazy, it's very good, i didn't like the 2nd movie too much myself.
I play this during my twitch stream, I have a RUclips channel for schizoid and schizo spectrum advocacy, occasionally display this vid at the beginning of my stream and give credit where credit is due, but I'm wondering what sort of deal we can work out so I can edit like the channel name in front of it and use it with your permission. I fucking love this thing.
@@HuemanInstrumentality it wasn't as anything specific jus thave used it a few times when I started a stream but then stopped since I didn't get a response from ya lol, I feel bad using stuff like that without permission. I'm live on Twitch, come hang out! www.twitch.tv/Schizoid_Angst?sr=a
