@@Nightmare_Shadow745 I would assume he had grown into a god with time, and as a child wouldn’t be one. So it wasnt a matter of what he was the god of, but what he would’ve been the god of?
So if I understood correctly- Dream and Dream XD used to have a really good father-son relationship, but Dream fell when he was flying too close to the sun, (either he died or injured himself so badly that he passed out, making XD think that he died), and then he woke up (?) and went to XD but XD didnt believe that Dream survived/was revived and so pushed Dream away?
Yes and yes but dream fell cause the spell that was used to help his wings took his life energy cause of reason explained in the future and yes XD pushed him away because he didn’t see him as his son and he also lost a lot of emotions and had just hate and anger in his soul

Ok so correct me if I’m wrong, it seems as if Dream is XD’s son. They grew up a pretty normal life, although after an incident (which seemed to me to be Dream falling from a high place while flying) Dream ended up passing away in his fathers arms. After maybe a year or two, Dream was revived by someone (who probably owned the revival book before Dream) who found Dream, and wanting him to be their successor. When Dream was brought back to life, he had a slightly different appearance, causing his father not to remember him and make him think that someone was trying to become his son.
Well yes everything correct but XD just didn’t expect that his son was back and thought it was just shadow that is not him even though Dream showed him that it was him just a bit different
But the spell that XD used on dream corrupted him and caused him to think it’s not him but just some shadow or Illusion or something

Adorable and sad at the same time... So if I got it right, Dream was first born with injured wings? XD helped him to cure, maybe infected himself in the process, but Dream died and become the Shadow God, he is still himself and love XD as a Dad but XD is bitter about his son death and don't see Shadow Dream as his son?
That's my guess, am I correct? I'm so sorry if I got a wrong thing. And boy, Dream looks so sweet and just want his Dad back... They were so close before, and now they hate each other... Will XD realize his mistake in the future? So many questions! Your God!AU is so cool and all !
Yes he was, his wings never fully developed and that why XD tried a spell. He knew there was a risk to the spell and something to pay when the spell was done… in the process he got corrupted / infected….
Yes Dream died and became the shadow god but more to that in the future ✨✨👏
And yes and XD didn’t see him as his son anymore and the corruption was just the small cost what he had to take the other worst one was he lost a lot of his emotions and was field with hate and anger … and yes you had a good guess ^^✨💙👏

Deep deep down he’s still sweet and caring but he’s lost and is sad cause of his sons death cause he feel guilty that he’s the reason that his son died but yeah let’s hope everything gets better …. ÓwÒ
