If I am not mistaken, this has a similar system of separation to axial combines? What do you thing about smaller Lexions 405 - 430 that have straw walkers?
Claas introduced the APS hybrid system back in 1995, it basically has a thrashing drum and twin rotors, thats why they call it "hybrid". The smaller lexions are very good and reliable. We have a 460 which is also a walker combine, it's simple and reliable. Not as much parts as on the bigger lexions, pretty easy to maintain and run.
@@actualyoungfarmer1078 Thank you for the response and clarification. I will probably go for a 420 or 430 as our first combine. We farm about 100ha in north of Serbia, expanding by 10- 20 ha each year and we haven't had a combine for almost 30 years since my grandfather sold his 😆
Am running a 480 myself from new in 2001. Was a game changer of a machine.
