Yoshikazu Iwama was born on April 18, 1968, in Shinkamigoto, Nagasaki Prefecture. At 16, he moved to Iwakurashi and lived a pretty regular life. He was into sports cars and seemed like an ordinary young man until his early 20s, when he started facing mental health issues. He worked briefly at the Waterworks Bureau and later at a Canon factory, where workplace bullying began his mental decline.
Around 2004, his mental health worsened. By 2005, he had made over 1,000 prank calls to the police in a single day, leading to his arrest in 2006. After being released, he had trouble with neighbors and was arrested again in 2009 over a car dispute. By 2010, he turned to the internet under the alias aiueo700, posting long complaints about imagined stalkers, gaining negative attention.
