Well, what a time it's been recently! I feel like I spent most of this vlog complaining about how overwhelmed I've been feeling lately. During this time we've had; a big website update, a scavenger hunt, two markets, two sweater launches, three shop updates, a big seconds sale plus lots going on behind the scenes 👀 I've taken some steps during this vlog to avoid burnout as much as I can, whilst being busier than ever. It's taking some learning and trial and error, but it's important to look after yourselves folks!

Why not hire part time help - even just one day a week for you - it sounds like you are really business with orders so to use a small bit of your profit for a helper sounds just what you need and then you can work of developing your business to the next stage and let them do the smaller tasks? ❤
You could never look like a troll. I so get where you are coming from. Can you get an intern from your local university, perhaps? A one woman show is not easy. Your artwork is amazing, so you’ll figure it out to get some relief to continue to do what you love.

Maybe you could have code words in your videos halfway through and the following week is the next half and creates a discount code! I’ve heard of podcasters doing that, but the scavenger hunt on your website is so fun and clever.

Maybe “done is better than perfect” (or what ever the saying was again) is something you need to learn to practice? Like with the 2nd sale (unless it was required of course) maybe one or two photos per type of product is plenty. People who shop there will know it’s seconds after all.
Also if the vlogs end up taking you a lot of energy I do recommend pausing them for a while (as example)
I repeat this phrase to myself multiple times a day 🤣 I think the issue was with the seconds sale was having SO many products (each had around 1 or 2 new images if they had any damage, apart from that I used my normal images), plus the marketing etc. I signed up and paid for it months ago so it’s just poor time management on my behalf - something I’m always trying to do better at! I also wish I could be more consistent with vlogs! But once a month works for me at the moment 🥰 when I pick up the camera I almost feel like I’m extra productive in a weird way, like I’m working alongside you guys 💖💖💖

Ahh thank you! I feel as though a lot of people are in the same boat recently with the overwhelm. All of a sudden everyone seems so busy and rushed off their feet. I hope we all manage to find some rest soon 💖

Hey love, I think you need people working for you like checking your emails, prepping your orders and label making so that you can feel less stress. And yes some things work more then other's to turn off that busy creative mind. I hope you can find someone too help you soon X.o.X.o
It is very understandable that you are overwhelmed. Is there any way you can have a "volunteer" help you with any of your tasks? Maybe find someone who wants to have you as a job reference or something in exchange for a certain # of hours a week who is a student maybe. Everyone has to start somewhere. Hope this helps❤

Maybe finding someone that can help you a couple of days a week would be a good idea. The holidays are a busy season and if you don’t get help soon, you may get even more overwhelmed and that could end up badly 😕

Maybe remove Etsy, since you have your own website anyway, by putting it on Holiday mode?
Have you considered getting an assistant to help you pack orders? It might seem like too much of an expense but in the long run I think it's a good investment 😮
The clay earrings are so cute! Hobbies are the only way I manage to stay sane as a stressed designer. Making wax melts are my hyper fixation right now; which you guys might like if you enjoy using molds/ using your hands.
I can’t remember the last time I had a creative hobby as I turned everything I loved into work 😭😂 except for swimming 🏊♀️ oooh wax melts! That sounds like a fabulous hobby to try!💖

I saw your video pop up on my feed, and clicked on it immediately. I can definitely relate to this video. I recently had a fall product launch on my Etsy shop and I feel both overwhelmed and extremely grateful for all the orders that poured in.
However, I'm struggling to establish a productive daily work routine that allows me to take care of myself. I am slowly starting to see the negative impacts of not having an effective work routine.
I am working on my Shopify website at the moment and plan to launch it next month. I think the scavenger hunt is a fantastic idea for a website launch. I'm curious about how you incorporated icons into your website. Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! 🥰

Feeling the overwhelm too as the only person doing everything, you're not alone and don't worry about spilling it all out, its so relatable and you know, things go up and down and one day you'll figure out a solution, just like how you've decided to switch rooms.. maybe getting mum's help or a niece to pack orders would be one thing off your to do list
