it’s weird to assume that your experiences dictate everyone else’s. some ppl don’t need colors to determine gender bc it’s not a binary. after all, the colors in the show are solely based off the colors of a dogs vision. just bc it makes you feel better to assume that literally everyone else was also wrong, doesn’t mean its true.
When I was a kid I believed Blue from Blue’s Clues was a boy because she was blue and refused to believe otherwise😂 Blue and pink being gendered is just so ingrained into kids from an early age it has to be unlearned but having these “Bluey is a girl, girls can like and be blue too!” Conversations is good even if it doesn’t seem to be working. All the little conversations build on each other. It’s a process, you’re doing great!!

I know i would've absolutely loved this as a kid but idk why as an adult i couldn't stop thinking of them being cut up and put together and it freaked me out 💀 But it looks amazing and it was such a kind thing for you to do, both take on the order and adjust the cake you wanted to make so that it fits their preferences!! You're absolutely the sweetest person ❤

To be fair, if someone said they wanted a cake with red rosettes on it and the baker said they only want to do blue as they'd done red before, it's not exactly making the baker compromise when the paying customer is set on red. It is what they wanted for the cake they're paying for, after all. But equally, I can understand the baker turning down the order if they can't give the customer what they want! But I do absolutely agree she should charge what her cakes are worth, especially when it seems her business is not open at the moment ❤
whatever she lost through the discount is probably recouped from the content she makes while also making the cake. if she uploaded a full video with ads, I imagine the video might pay even more than the customer.

I don’t really understand why people freak out when somebody miss genders Bluey like the show kind of sets people up for it. The parents are highly color-coded. The Dad is blue. The mom is a peachy orange and bingo who everyone knows it is a girl matches the mom‘s color scheme and bluey’s voice actor makes bluey’s voice kind of sound like it could be a boy or a girl so by character design and by the androgynous voice it’s reasonable for the majority of people to assume that Bluey is a boy.
Every single person goes through the “oh, Bluey is a girl?” Moment. Even the ones yelling.
