Honestly, I think there is potential for this particular house. I believe that this is HHN's take on the slasher genre, more specifically movies such as "The Hills Have Eyes", "Terrifier", "House of 1000 Corpses", and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". As for Triplets of Terror being a comedy house, I personally can't see it. I think Goblin's Feast, Slaughter Sinema 2, or Major Sweets' Candy Factory are more likely to be comedic, compared to this house.
I do understand the confusion here - I was just as surprised as you are when this was announced. However, I do believe that this will be quite the experience, since so far all of these houses look awesome! We'll just have to wait and see...
Very good point about the others being more the comedic right. This one gives me the creeps for sure.
Someone said on X that it seems like they wanted to do The Strangers house, but they couldn’t get the rights to it. So this is their version of The Strangers. Which makes sense to me, and it’s gonna be terrifying because that movie scared the crap out of me lol. And I can’t freaking wait ❤
In theory I could see how people would think that. There's only been one IP talked about that was strongly on the list but fell through.
If they wanted The Strangers I'm sure they would have had no problem in getting it. We've had them at the event twice before.
@@ZombieChris oh really? I’ve only been going since 2018, so I don’t know what they had before 😂
My top 3 hyped original houses are Museum, Goblin and Monstrous. This is just off announcements. I'll see if this changes once the Haunted Tales episodes drop. I love Haunted Tales for the backstory of the houses, but not a fan of the House Reveal episodes because they give spoilers about what's actually in the houses..
Are you talking about Universal's podcast right? Seems weird they have not started dropping any episodes on these as of yet.
I have my theory about what this house is gonna be, but I don’t wanna say just yet and I know more about it. My hype list for this year is:
1. Slaughter Sinema 2
2. The Museum: Deadly Exhibits
3. Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America
4. Major Sweet’s Candy Factory
5. Goblin’s Feast
6. Triplets of Terror (if my theory is correct this house will move up on my hype list)
My hype list as of now is
Goblins feast
Monstrous
Major Sweets
Slaughter Sinema 2
Museum
Triplets of terror
I have no idea what to think about triplets of terror lol. Its one of those we have to wait and see houses. But, sometimes those wind up being the best houses!!! 👌
True! it's the fun part of making our hype list before seeing them. Then afterwards seeing how much it changed or not.
This house is a pretty odd house for a multitude of reason. I believe this the house we go the most information we have about it's characters and plot. But the tone is not coherent, is it a serious house or a comedy house? It can either go both ways. The look of the Barmy Triplets are disturbing but also pretty goofy which may turn some people off. This isn't a house that already have no pre-establish presence and ties to past experiences. It is own idea similar to Goblin Feast and the Museum: Deadly Exhibit. I see a lot of highs and lows for this house. Could the trio be the icons of the event? I don't know.
That's the exciting part. We will find out once we step inside. Maybe it could be a little of both. Starts off a comedy house but get's scary and gory later on. Not sure if we know the Triplets are slashers or are they paranormal? hmmm
As far as I understood things, this is a complete slasher house, no comedy at all. I think they're going for a creep factor here but I could be wrong
@@DragonEdsLair I can see that, when looking at the pictures of the tour. Also #TripletSweep!
Most excited for this one, very unique
Me too!
This one looks awesome!! ❤
I'm not excited for this one at all. It's like there's no theme. I'm also hearing there's only going to be 3 IPs this year. Ghostbusters, Resident Evil and Quiet Place. Did they just throw this event together because they are focused on Epic? Feels strange this year.
No theme as in the event or the house? Yes it was well known way way earlier into the spec season. The IP's we're going to be less on the list. haha not quite. They are already working on this event once. Last year has started.
Where on earth did you hear resident evil from? I heard it was Ghostbusters, universal monsters, insidious and quiet place
@@nightmareseeker6996 I heard it from another youtuber. I cant remember which one. But they said they are hearing that rumor. I'm hoping it's not true. I've also heard Doom or Silent Hill alot as well from other youtubers.
Who knows at this point. 😄
@@ZombieChris I guess we'll have to see. Something just feels off this year.
Wow you guys are so lucky. So many announcements and it sounds like a good lineup this year for Orlando!
It feels that way but this is just the big drop that happens in August but spread out. It will be an interesting year for sure.
how many if these are going to be in Hollywood?
I believe none of them. These are only for Orlando.
@@ZombieChris but these look so cool😭
This sounds intresting but the logo and artwork makes it look like it was A.I. done
😂 I could see that.
@ZombieChris either that or maybe this could of been a slaughter sinema film turn to haunted house
Love the original lineup this year! Chris can you at some point do a video speculation about the crowd fluctuations this year? I heard that the event had busy days what was used to be considered light days and had lower crowds on dates later in season close to Halloween. Even heard Saturdays were light days last season
Last year things were flipped for sure. Opening weekend was so busy and really the event did not slow down until near the end. I’m ver interested how it will pan out this year
There's an easter egg in the reflection of some of the balloons- it looks like the window pane of the black & white house on the spec map.. hmmm
Hmmm I created the part of the video. Maybe there was an easter egg.
All these announcements has been crazy!!
Truly unlike anything before.
