squads one of those games where you can actually get those cinematic esc moments where it just feels like your in a film even through normal gameplay, most games you think you can get those moments but you never do, it just makes the game so much more appealing without having to stage everything
I remember me and the boys in an american tank or smthing, and then they were transporting us to another area, and there was an russian MBT that came outta nowhere. So the driver told us to get out and they fought to the last bit. They died, and me and the other guy crawled to the tank and killed it with an anti-tank missile thingy. Truly an stressful time.
You know, I think Squad can be one of the most intense, fun, versitile and random game ever, but sadly only when everyone is playing along. Even tho the learning curve isnt very steep, some people miss the point of this game entirely and are still blinded by the whole KD/A mentality that CoD and BF taught its audience over the years. Ive had so many great moments in this game and its making me feel something else man. To all of you who are Squad favorites and enjoy this game as much as I do, I salute you for playing the game the right way! Thanks FriendlyNikolai, this was truly a majestic video which makes me wanna just play and play.
i love the idea of never knowing if i actually even killed someone until the end, i only have 15 hours in this game but the thrill of just being in one of those shoot outs that go on for mintues or having a hunter killer teams supporting armor and slowly pushing through a map is an amazing thing to be apart of as far as an online game goes.
Errr ya kd shows if your team is winning, ie tickets, i norm run a 6/1 kd pushing points, thats the game, you gotta be able to kill them to take the points, the bs " kD dOnt mAttEer " is bs, the team with the most losses will lose, very rare have i seen a game where neg kd team win a game , now dont just go solo bc then your not helping at all, push points and get good and shooting
this game is so sick. Every time i play it there is always something that happens that makes me feel like im in a war movie. And its only gonna get better and better with all the updates they are releasing.
It's getting worse. I came back after a while and the game is a mess with bugs and casual players, and now we have the emotes and microtransactions no one asked for.

For new players wanting to buy this thinking it'll look like this. Moments like these happen once in a blue moon on squad. These are hundreds of hours of gameplay edited into one short video. Most of the time it's a walking or driving simulator with no action. But the reason we keep playing is because once in a blue moon you get that one game, that you remember in vivid detail from start to end. Where you feel connected to your squad and you act in synergy with the rest of your team, that's when the magic happens.
Agreed, I've played so many games and still the one that sticks with me was being in a really awesome squad that made me a part of the mortar team. Three teams of two in the squad. Squad leader and his second in command was taking point, scouting ahead and giving call signals to places that myself and one other were doing mortar hits on. Two others were on standby in a heli and would pick up the SL first, then come to grab us mortars. We would destroy the position he targeted, he would call in for a heli that was on standby, get picked up, picked us up after and moved to the next position. Did this routine for 30 mins until the match was complete, with victory in hand. Took out three objectives that game, all from a little squad of six dudes. Being that coordinated as a functional squad was definitely a highlight in all of my gaming experiences. I thanked the guys after the game for providing me with an authentic squad experience and they were all super grateful to have me on the team.
I can still remember a game I had a couple of years ago in a squad called door kickers. We had an American Sgt that stayed in character the whole game and it was too much fun
Ikr, had a game yesterday that I'll never forget. We made a great hab on a point, it was pretty quiet for a while. We placed some mortars and made some hits. But then we got attacked and all hell broke loose. People dying left and right, bullets and explosions everywhere. I literally couldn't even hear what people were saying. I was getting people up all the time and healing them. We hold the point untill our team captured hill 57, which made us win the game. All the people on hab communicated, it was a great time.
This is not true at all! Sure you don't get perfect cinematic war movie moments every game but there is a lot of action if you know how to play. Yes it can be a walking sim but thats usually due to bad planning and having a shitty SL. Like one comment above said, if you playing this game thinking its like cod its not gonna be an enjoyable experience, but if you play it as the mil sim it is, you gonna have one hell of a time.
It's kinda upsetting that this game is only fun when all 100 players are playing it the way it's meant to be played. I feel like a true Squad experience is rare.
I’ve been having some fantastic games lately. What servers do you normally play on? Downloadable combat and Bella’s Battleground have been offering some good experiences lately.
It never used to be that way, for its first year especially before vehicles everyone involved knew exactly what they were doing, most were Project Reality players Now so many casuals play it
Something about the cinematic moments that happen in games like squad are so much more satisfying than cinematics in games like COD or Battlefield because its not scripted and every single soldier and jet and tank etc, is a real player not just an npc which I think is so much better than npc with scripted actions and movements. Makes it so much more real and exciting watching clips like these. I'm getting squad today and I cant wait to jump into a game like this wish me luck!
Most frustrating thing having no habs or rally’s and logis are all out doing runs and you have to walk 13km just to get sniped as soon as you met contact
@@Duncdawgit’s the main reason i can’t pick up and keep squad picked up. even hell let loose and shit, even arma 3 and reforger do it better. at least in arma i have helis and trucks ready to pick me up every. single. time i respawn, and hell let loose yea you run but the battle comes at you quick even when running. but even that game is risky because you can just get sniped running for minutesssss

I play many fps and military games. Squad offers the best balance of fun and realism. Some learning when new to it. The community is great and willing to help new players. It's been growing quite a bit lately. BTW, I am better with shovel than gun in the game 😃

Man reminds me of my best shot i got. In a BMP1 as insurgents made a 1300m shot on enemy BMP curved that HEAT over the top of the mound and blasted them. Good times

Well, all EA shooters I've played (BF1, BF5 and Battefront2) provided me dozens of such moments.
The game doesn't even need those ultra-good graphics, I have 500 hours in a lib server on Arma 3 and I get nostalgia thinking about some of the times.

Ami sometimes the textures do not load, the graphics look plastic, any solution?
There's an "uncap texture pool size" option under Settings > Graphics > Textures, although it might cause stuttering.
