good arrangement .the mellow an trumpets DEFINITELY take it up there near the ending. 1time I have heard they tubas buried tho. sounds like everyone not sure of what they playing yet
It's a strange mixture of the Gym / Mics I used & how loud the group is in general. The Mics used are Extremely Accurate / very sensitive & all those low frequencies bouncing around the gym and being on Extreme Left / Right just didn't translate as well as how it would If they were outside. Tubas were definitely holding it down
I feel like if they played the chorus with intensity and backed off on the verse I understand wanting to hear the voicing in the verse but it was like let’s get in then let’s turn down. Yes crescendo and decrescendo are needed musically but when it’s time for the melody to come out they got the bring it. I think the gym acoustics played a part as well besides that I liked it.
