Thank you so much too man! I love your personality and your passion and excitement for music and records. You remind me of myself a lot and you’re like the friend or brother I’ve always wanted in my life. I have a massive collection myself too. Definitely not as much rare sabbath as you but I have all the sabbath and dio sabbath. I’m missing a lot of the other ones though but will collect them over time. I really hope you stick around and keep showing great content like this for a long time bro. Us metal heads/rock n rollers are the best out there. It’s like more than music. It’s a lifestyle and a truly deep passion that only people like me and you will understand. Keep up the awesome vids. I really need to get back into making more myself and showing some gems in my collection. I was a teen in the 90’s so I have a lot of records from that era. But I also love classic metal and rock from the 60’s and 70’s too. Have yourself a very happy and wonderful day my friend. \m/

I’ve never done this before , but I figured I’m just going to be me , people are either going to like it or hate … but I’m glad you feel that way about “ Brother/ friend”. We don’t know each other but we’re friends , how many times have you been done where and just started taking to someone about something , either in a record store , amusement park anywhere … it’s cool to be nice to strangers , not everyone gets it … music communities are amazing!! People at concerts , music stores .. if I see someone walking towards me in a cool Rock/ Metal t shirt I’ll tell them “ cool shirt/ great band” and that makes their day!
I love music a bunch of different types. But classic rock / metal are my favs …
Yeah man make more videos, find the time ( like me) and just do them … open up peoples minds with your thoughts , collections , insights … just be you !
I watch other peoples videos and I’m like oh shit, I didn’t know that was out yet , or Oh I forgot about that one , I need to get it or I need to listen to it again…

Brother, what you said about Bill Ward is EXACTLY right! Underrated and should definitely be mentioned right along side Bonham and Ian Paice. Ward was a total original who was the first or ine if the very first, that brought a huge helping of jazz into hard rock, but Ward did it in such a unique and personal way. Ward was swinging AND rocking like a mfer!! One of the best!
Ward is just amazing!!! Everything he did just rattles your bones!! ☠️

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath my favorite Sabbath record followed closely by Sabotage. Their best period; 1972-75, Vol. 4 - Sabotage, but everything between 1969/70-1978 was great including Never Say Die. NSD is a very good record! Augie, you’re rocking it brother! Totally digging the channel! Thank you! VG

The Purple Swirl Paranoid is the Vinyl Me, Please 2015 re press - of the 2004/6 - Remaster/Reissue cut by Kevin Gray (all analog AAA master) from Rhino Vinyl. Both the Rhino and the VMP (purple) sound amazing! I just had an issue with that purple I talked about in a recent video - but I bought another one! It came with a cool art print and a cocktail recipe to pair with your listen!

I’ve been waiting for this one! Awesome collection Augie… I agree love Bill wards playing he has a style of his own I’m a guitar player but I find myself listening to him as much as I listen to the master Iommi! Just picked up a promo copy of Sabbath bloody sabbath and been picking up a lot of the FM broadcasts this collecting thing is getting a little out of control 😀
SAM!! Lol. Bill is the man! Collecting is a “ Want” “ Need” thing. It can get out of control real quick.
I have to stop myself sometimes for buying stuff … what i usually do is walk around the store with “ what I think I need” until the very end and then think about what I’m holding and usually put it back … some of the Sabbath FM recordings are in the Sabbath Boxsets,Check before buying , you may be better off buying the Boxset.

Alice Cooper I only have the usual’s, & Pantera the usual as well…. I don’t have anything special with either of those.
The Alice I have some new remastered colored vinyl but it enough to do a “ collection” unless I do it with something else in the same style … I’ll think about it.

Your Welcome !! Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment ! I was always the kid who walked around with the giant boom box cranking the metal. ( it required 8 D Batteries lol) I always made mixed tapes ( cassettes) carried a bunch around with me ( in the pockets of my denim or leather jacket depending on the weather lol) .
When my friends and I would hang out , other kids would be around as well and hang with us and talk music … so yeah we probably would have hung out together in high school lol…. 🤘
Wow, A , you really stirred up a good (or not so good) ol’ memory with those oversized D batteries we used to lug around…but the sonic punch on those boom boxes was worth it!…A quality chrome cassette-still my fav music format--and you’re in business….Great texting wit ya!
Lol. Yeah the old boom boxes. I was the kid with the radio. I can’t survive without music , it’s in my blood , it’s what makes me .ME !
And I’m sure there’s thousands of people who feel the same way.. it was a pain to carry around radio in one hand , 6 pack in the other lol thou most of the times I’d let my friends carry my beer AND chip in for the batteries …. Text anytime it’s all good 👍…

Lovin these albums behind you Augie..Im Paul and just tripped on your channel and so glad I did and subbed...Love Sab...Ozzy era will always be my fave era of Sab (Dio era is great as well)...when I heard the start of that 1st Sab albumwhen I was 12 in late 70s...ominous and doom at its finest.Great video and really thanx for sharing .Take care

There should be another page in the Vol 4 gatefold that has Ozzy and Bill. My copy did that, as well.

Sabbaths original label was Phillips, their subsidiary label was Fontana then Phillips formed another label / division called Vertigo….
In 1972, Hemdale Group, which managed Black Sabbath, acquired NEMS Enterprises. The label was relaunched in 1975, and the majority of its catalog consisted of Black Sabbath re-issues in the United Kingdom, Japan, and parts of Europe shortly after the demise of WWA Records.
There is no bad Black Sabbath album. Love 'em all! "Iron Man" is a great autobiography. The box set you're refering to is called "The Ten Year War".

Just didn’t want to mention his name ( for the 13 album) he did what he was told so I don’t blame him for the playing… 13 is missing that bill ward swing …brad is a great drummer in his own right .. the stuff he plays with Rage is awesome…

Ok so Sabbath with Ozzy…. 🤔 yeah there’s so many out now it’s ridiculous… I have the first generation remasters and few of the others.
So let’s start by saying don’t get any “ colored vinyl”… stick with the regular Black vinyl.. if you can find any pressing from the 1970’s when the albums first came out your better off, but if your local store only has Re issues then just get what you can unless you want to go down the eBay rabbit hole and find a million Sabbath albums… I have so many different copies from everywhere , which ever I grab is the one I listen too , but 9 out of ten times I go for my originals that came out in the 70’s… so I’d say start there …. The NEMS/ Warner Brother albums …
@@augie3281 Thanks for the info! , I don’t normally buy original pressings because I prefer the “newness” of remasters. (Also not a fan of ring ware) That may revoke my “VC” card! 😆 I have seen the 2016 versions and heard decent reviews, so I’ll more than likely get those until the day I can get the box sets!
@Derekty3 No problem. So then yeah get the newer ones.. Amazon has a bunch … or local store .. I really have no complaints about any of them …well with some of the remaster cds I do.. but the vinyl ones seem ok…
