That's complicated, I didn't get picked and now I know it's because of the image data, I remember seeing clearly 2019, the photographer did me wrong and I didn't know what to do so I just applied with it. I m sad but I know next year I will be fixing these problems for sure however I noticed that are few photographers who really follow the real and true requirements what a shame.

Don't edit the photo. Take the photo with a white background, simple. The instructions specify that you do not edit in any way besides cropping. There is also a tool provided for cropping.
Does photo compression affected to reject dv application. Once I uploaded and submit my particulars I just checked my photo with photo tool in the dv program web site. It says "photo is overly compressed". Please advice...

Apply until the day you are in USA it will not affect your current win,coz winning does not guarantee you a visa so if you miss the visa by any reason whatsoever you can redo the process again if you win again and av seen a good n.o of people winning two consecutive years so go ahead

The applications are ongoing right now till November 10th. So, try your luck again.
No matter what kind of photo I put and I make it acceptable size they never accept it and its always an error.
