Hello Ann, I love your Halloween inspired Keto soba noodle meal!! I am still waiting for my ingredients from Amazon to make the your noodle recipes! The tradition in my house at Halloween for years included squid ink pasta (before I adopted Keto lifestyle). Last year I made a meatloaf shaped like a severed hand. Used BBQ sauce and sugarless ketchup to lend colour and gore. Also cut purple onion to simulate finger nails. My daughter was so freaked out, she lost her appetite! ..My son on the other hand, ate with gusto! I was thinking of incorporating squid ink and 1,000 year old duck egg into a keto Halloween noodle dish this year!!
Yes! Squid ink would work too. Ohhh Thousand year old egg! I love that idea! I will make the that with the keto egg noodles with the black garlic sauce. So good!!!

Wonder if there’s a way to calculate the calories for this noodle? I’d really love to give it a try, ever since I started keto, noodle is always something I missed the most.
No, soften it after just before you need to use it. My followers and I have done 7 days in the fridge. Would have to send it for testing to make sure it’s good for longer.
Question: 1- the calcium bath and the softener is with hot water? 2- once finished, are they boiled in water or are they only heated with the sauce? greetings from Argentina
wonder if you could crack an egg into the mould and add an additional egg white or two to fill it up and then steam cook it. Not sure if the yolk would semi-center, but it should give you a cleaner impression.
I thought about that, but since I’m using an ice mold, I’m not sure if I can use it for heat. You can definitely do it this way with silicon baking molds (if you can find one).

Yes, squid ink would work. In that case, you won’t need the activated charcoal. Have fun!
