+mirock's woodshop AS the entire project is about half a dozen standardized parts, do you happen to have separate PDF templates of each component apart from the Sketchup file please? If yes, will you also take time to upload them and provide a link. Thanks. I am keen on building as per your plan.
I'm working to expand my workshop in 2016 and planning how to build a new main assembly table. The perforated torsion box design appears to be the best so far. Ron Paulk's innovation might be part of the ticket. Your interlocking design will make it more rigid!! Video coming soon!
Thank you for concept and plans! I really like the workbench and the fact it can be easily disassembled, it could save a lot of space in your working place. This is great work!
Nice Mirock. I made a plywood grid with 12" squares and it floats/rests on top of a pair of saw horses. These things are super strong and wonderfully light. I like your idea of using the filler panels. I wonder if you could use MDF fillers instead of plywood. The cost would go down by a lot, and one could leave them in place and lightly cut the surface like a standard MFT without worry of the cost. Very clever wheels, I love it! Your "L" shaped legs can be used with some 3cm straps to help keep all the loose pieces together during transport. One suggestion: I like having some long horizontal slots cut into the grid pieces in order to facilitate the use of bar clamps, and those slotted areas help store saw tracks and other long items off the table top; this idea comes from Ron Paulk's benches.
Another surprising achievement, inspiring and very intelligent. May be on day, you will come up with a hybrid version including this table an your other amazing TS 55 table saw. Thanks for sharing. Regards.
Must have cost a fortune (At least in Holland plywood is expensive!!) I have the smaller version for my Kapex. It is so simple to use and has so many possibilities in use. I am maybe a bit inpatient but this table takes too much time to assemble. But, never the less: It is a great design. I like it very much!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for posting this! I'm in the process of making a garage cabinet at my local FabLab, and was trying to figure what a good workbench would be. I'm going to convert your skp files to CNC files.
I've came to conclusion that it is auxiliary workbench and don't have sense to build MFT for ts55 based on it. They are different. Maybe I'll make MFT for ts55 separately.
Wow, has it been five years already since this video came out...
These were good times seeing the incredible video series of Mirock.
This is not woodworking at all. It’s the best magic I have ever seen.
You are a very skilled designer and maker. Keep up the great stuff you do👍
It's and assembly puzzle. And a workbendch!
+Matthias Wandel Yes Matt, it is a old principle). But I see this sort of assembly is able to be developed much more...
+Matthias Wandel btw, It is good idea to give name for this project: "Puzzle Workbench". Let it be. Thank you for name idea, Matthias).
Outstanding work my friend ! Keep the great projects coming . The world needs your good thinking to help lift the 'Bottom billion'.

Greg Thorne don't forget to show when you get it!
Looks like I have some metric->english conversion to do before I can just buy off-the-shelf plywood at Home Depot. Should be a fun project!
Great! Thank you!
NICE!!!
I dont think it will live up to the MFT, but I like this workbench very much.
I've came to conclusion that it is auxiliary workbench and don't have sense to build MFT for ts55 based on it. They are different. Maybe I'll make MFT for ts55 separately.
Is there a way to break down the 3D sketchup file into the component parts so they can be CNC cut, or used a templates to manually cut the parts?
Nice!
+Михаил Макаревич Thank you Michael!
О, у тебя есть еще один канал! Подписываюсь !
+Юрий Максименко !
