I respect your warning, but bugs like this never got anyone banned. It’s the ones where players have to do an abnormal sequence of steps triggering a glitch, that gets you banned. (Ie. dmg glitch w/ turret, the broken door glitch camp white oak, the invisibility glitch in the dz). Other bugs similar to this one got no ban (ie. Items available at vendor for free- unlimited purchases)
@@GoatMeal365 I think the underlying premise is that if you can gain an unfair advantage or exploit a bug they will take some type of action. If they can patch it within a day or so, it may be fine. Otherwise im expecting some statement or tweet about this. Players can basically craft all god rolled items they want from year 6 after they complete the season track. Not to mention anything available at the crafting station. It may not end with a ban, but even a rollback would suck for people.
Seeing that multiple cheaters and server interceptors dont get banned after countless reports, I think im okay with using a glitch that benefits me and doesn't hurt anyone in the process of my 8,000 hour character.
Anyone that’s played the division long enough knows that the devs don’t ban cheaters, but they do ban players who participate in exploits. They have done it three or four times already in the past. So I wouldn’t put it past them to do it again. But, It’s honestly not that big of a deal. The ban Is only like a week or so long and they simply just take back everything the player got. So basically, It’s just time wasted on the players end. So fuck it. Take the risk. . What’s a week off from this shitty ass game anyways. It’s not like any of us are going to miss out on anything.
I agree with you 100%, the game is in a pathetic state right now, countless bugs and glitches that Massive has refused to fix yet they have the time and resource to release stupid time limited cosmetics to get people to buy them out of fomo. Year 6 doesn't sound promising. The game's story is a laughing stock, I am convinced they will have us kill keener and keep resurrecting him again and again until Division 3 launches. And they don't even ban cheaters who blatantly use hacks. I will do this and if they ban me, I will be more than happy to be rid of this stupid game.
I'm not sure if I agree with you. An exploit usually involves triggering secret or faulty code to obtain unintended advantages. Crafting costs resources, while exploits don't. What if the developers have intentionally designed it this way to motivate players to use their resources and encourage grinding for those who don't have them? That's how I see it. Because the developers do not have a way to prove who is cheating and who is just crafting, and as long as you used your resources, how could you be cheating? You will have to grind at some point to have enough resources to craft whatever you get.
I agree. This was done on purpose to help new players. How else would this affect only new characters? Makes no sense. I think they didn't want to announce it so veterans wouldn't have a cow. Are the 3 Exotic caches they gave us when creating a new character an exploit, too? Am I going to get banned for opening one and getting an Elmos? Nice newb weapon for starting new characters.
I understand your perspective, but let's be real. I have around 2k hours in the game, 95% of the gear I get is either trash or requires significant optimization to be useful. It's frustrating, especially in a game that's been around for 6 years. I personally, will try it.
I have an old char with lvl 30, leveld up yesterday to 40 and needed some mods and build it, all max. Now you are telling me i get banned? Can't be serius. If you dont know, especially as an new player why would you know?
@@Snakes.StartToSingmaybe because you’re basically telling soak he or this info ain’t “real” and you’re gonna do it, while at he same time saying you’re new to the game? 🤷♂️ The devs have really banned people from abusing exploits in the past, so yeah you do you… The reason you are getting gear with low rolls, is because that’s how the progression system works… You start out on Story/hard difficulty after level 40 and start getting the correct pieces together for builds… Then you up your difficulty one two bumps to get better rolled gear and work your way up to Challenging and finally Heroic. On Heroic gear drops with 80-100% rolls… Some builds let’s you do straight to Heroic from story/hard diff…
My thoughts exactly. On pc, for instance, single players game like Assassin's Creed Origins and Valhalla have more active players. The player count is horribly low

This is a tough one for anyone that plays this game. I’ve got everything I need already. Max rolled everything. But it’s definitely a risky thing to do in this game. I wouldn’t promote any of the “glitches” either. Good stuff.
At this point in time especially for the veteran players i dont see it as a surprise that most want to take advantage of this. Frankly i dont see why the players should be punished for a bug they unknowingly added into the game. The fact is this is because of their own carelessness and lack of play testing that this is in the game. The only reason this bug is considered a problem is because its one of the few helpful ones. They still havent fixed the reloading glitch, nor certain talents not consistently procking. They now messed up the ability to view builds. Enemies still get stuck in spawns and barriers soft locking the missions. The player still gets stuck on barriers when running or getting revived. Ive had skills bug out on multiple times during legendary runs because of things like shock grenades, or they outright just get blanked out during the missions. Conflict still doesnt balance lobbies fairly at all (usually whole max level teams vs the rest). Puzzle hunter spawns are also bugged for those trying to get the white out keys. So many bugs which also affect the the gameplay (usually results in deaths or restarts) and we just need smile and be happy. You are not wrong thst they may ban or role back people or delete crafted items but frankly they are hypocrites if they do so, if they want our time and patience for farming, they need to actually take time and care for the game they want to continue building on.
@@SoakDisko I am indeed aware of this, and straight up agree with you. It still doesn't change that the Devs carelessness for how they release updates has led to this bug alongside others. This type of carelessness is no different to what rockstar games used to do for GTA and this eventually led to actual personal data leaks etc. They are hypocrites if they do wanna ban players who choose to partake in this tho because frankly the player base has had enough of the annoying bugs the Devs release. If they want to ensure the game remains balanced, do a crafted items wipe for anything crafted from year 6 new characters. At least they can show some authority without shitting on long term players who have had enough even more. And no I'm not partaking in this, I've warned various friends not to risk it especially since certain items (IE desired gear mods) have caps on them anyway.
This godroll bug doesn't affect devs server mechanics. Not sure what you mean banning players using this. Maybe rollback but never ban. Just my opinion. But if you are exploiting an xp glitch or bug that gets you season level 0-100 in 1hr or less, yes you'll get a temp ban then perma ban on 2nd offence.😂

But for new players, they need it and I'm pretty sure no one is going to ban any player who's under 500 SHD watch level. Ubisoft need all these players to keep playing and spending money for season passes and apparel events.

I don't see bans going out for this personally. At least...not yet. If the developers do feel this is an exploit then they should put up a message in game ASAP to say "Hey. We know this is a thing. If you use it then you will be punished." if they don't then some players may not know. It seems silly I know to say it that way but if you don't address it immediately then people will not know. Plus, it's technically part of a normal player experience to level up and use the bench. I'm not saying this in defense or support of this weird bug. Just saying as an observer from the sidelines. (I don't need anything as my stuff is already god rolled).

I'm a day one player too. I found this bug the day of the update when I made a new char to farm printer filament. Every Famas crafted from 1-30 came out God rolled. Will I get banned now? They ain't gonna do jack.
I honestly think they will rollback people, which is a waste of time spent playing. They may just roll back all the new DC mules perhaps. Like i said, dont put the devs past punishing players for bugs, they have a history.
If you read the patch-notes you can find this : Crafting bench upgrades related to World Tiers have been removed. Superior and High-end bench quality upgrades have been redistributed to match the new item quality/level distribution. So dont think this is a bug but i could be wrong :) and if you got better stuff farming will be much easier in game.
I don't think this is a bug. I think they just granted this to the players for the sake of the new wave players. My reasoning is that the near/god-roll stats seem to be by design, as you cannot get 13% Protection from Elites. you only get %12. If this was a coding mishap and the game would church out maxed all mids indiscriminately, there would be no reason for us not getting maxed PfE. but this is all guesswork... we gotta wait and see who is right...
This is really bad, I just finished my fourth character two days ago, I need to craft mods for it but ,I dare not do this, I basically have my fourth character stuck in limbo now. I just can’t trust crafting anything at all. 😢 This needs fixing ASAP it is game breaking.

Another thing that you have to take into consideration. Even if you don't use this particular exploit, you run the risk of getting a ban/rollback for running with someone who has used this particular exploit. I speak with experience on this matter. Having match maked into a group, while the turret damage glitch was going on, and subsequently receiving a two week ban in addition to a rollback as well.
This is why I don’t think they can ban anyone; it’s not exactly an exploit. You’re not doing anything abnormal to trigger it. Thousands of players new characters EVERYDAY because of the SHD points which comes in handy to buy resources for optimising, expertise and CRAFTING. So thousands of players are crafting in the game every minute of the day with or without the bug. To start banning players will be very tricky because it will end up like when they banned players who didn’t even do the damage glitch and left players who did and even posted proof.
Its comparable to going to an ATM to withdraw $20, and it gives you $100. If you do it once, its no problem. If you spend all day there "exploiting" the glitch, you may face charges lol. Just saying.

Dude, i just started playing this game after 2 years. I thought it was weird that all the items I was crafting were perfectly rolled but being a new character I thought it was so that I could ease back into the tougher content. What your saying is that myself and anyone else who just decided to start playing again will get banned, if that happens then that’s pretty insane

I like the dude, but shouldn't be putting out stuff like this because he knows the score with devs, and said "do it before it gets removed" so he knows it's a glitch yet still recommends to do a glitch 😂 all for clicks man all for the clicks. They know where you get gear from, so if you do it, you probably won't have that gear for long lol.
Everyone is crying about "seasonal characters" until there's an exploit... then it's all "DELETE YOUR 4TH CHARACTER RIGHT NOW!!" I don't need anything God rolled sans a few skill mods but I pretty much have 15 perfect builds
A bug is not an “exploit” you are not causing an exploit. Also they will lose at least half their player base. You are still using mats to craft. If you exploited crafting to cause it to not use mats then that’s cheating
A "bug" that can be exploited becomes an "exploit" according to the devs anyway. I'm saying players should be careful, is your position that players should do this while they can? Do what you want to do my guy.

@@maximus4everjay119 When the Devs rolled back and banned people for doing the XP glitch that was found in the Fay Lau mission, they said the reason was that it was a bug that was being exploited for player gain. You dont think this falls under the exploit category? A way to GET ALL Mods, gear and weapons triple god rolled? Eg: Farming for a certain gun with 3 decent attributes and you can just change the talent. If you want any piece of gear with maxed rolls, this exploit gives it to you, so it removes the farming element. Maybe ur right tho, im just gonna avoid this one like the plague lol
Yeah, i could totally see how this could be a ban. I never did it. I dont need it, and it shouldn't really be promoted. As it is technically cheating as a result of the devs' unintentional mistake. I'd have to respectfully disagree. What if I'm a brand new player and didn't know anything about the exploit. Are they really going to ban me or remove my gear when I did nothing wrong? If they did they would lose almost all of their players

I just bought the game the day after Ubisoft forward. I don’t anything about the game I’ve got only 1 character, I’m shd lvl 34 and I just went to crafting station today and I’ve rolled loads of stuff maxed out. I thought this is what it does 😮😳, I don’t wanna get banned. I had a chameleon from before I rolled it again and got it maxed out, then I made some mods and other stuff. Will I get banned i didn’t know anything WTH
You will not get banned. I mentioned your scenario in a comment I posted on this. New players are using the crafting bench everyday. Plus This bug is not triggered by an abnormal sequence of steps to cause an exploit, like other bannable offenses of the past. SoakDisko is doing the right thing by warning players, but Devs are not going to ban players for this, at least not without giving a warning to stop.

They banned for the turret glitch, banned for white oak, rolled back for exploiting tombs for proficiency/expertise, they will in all likelihood take action here too. Heck they rolled back expertise because of their bug and we weren't even exploiting, we were just playing. At least we got compensation caches but back then optimizing was expensive AF. Haven't made a new character since about a month before the new season started. I did need to farm a new Diamondback as this season is rifles and did that with one of my legacy characters from way before Warlords. Re-rolling for DTOC on the bottom slot changes the source from farmed to crafted. Hopefully if they take action they'll see this wasn't acquired using the new bug and that i haven't made a new character since the season's start.
You literally still have to farm for blueprints and materials to even access the ability to craft them. You still have to go through the raid for some of them and control points for attachments. You have to have the right roles on your gear. So I mean it just depends
They habe stated that if you do anything thats a glitch or not suppose to be you will get banned. They do retro ban also. I would stay the hell away from this. Thanks soap for the level headed view.
Same thing happened with the Danny weaver vendor then weeks later, fixed it. Devs won't ban anyone doing it because everything done is normal process in game. Doing a new character and crafting stuff part of gane.. Yes the devs have messed up but it's there mistake.. Can't punish people from doing normal stuff in the game end of. They should prioriise a fix Monday or tuesday.
Imagine buying a game and the tutorial tells you to craft something which you do and then you get banned for it. That will be a move no one will ever forget
probably just a rollback, but if people deleted all their 90% mods and gear to make room for the 100% stuff i dont know if that comes back. who knows lol

Funny thing is, even with this bug, you can't get 12% PFE mods. I tried it. They roll 11% just like the vendors. As for bans, I don't think they can do that until they announce the bug. Otherwise, they'd have to ban new players for simply using the crafting bench. Well, I shouldn't say they "can't". They shouldn't. They usually come out and say, if you do it after this date, you can be banned.
I see both sides of it. They could ban for it. But then people have been making new characters for resources for ages now. I made a new character to earn resources, crafted and got god rolled because the bug. But, what do they expect me to do? I had no idea there was a bug, I’m just playing the game how I usually do, crafting is a huge part of the game so how can they ban me for playing how I usually do? I play new characters and craft my gear on it, What am I meant to do with what I crafted that came god rolled
The devs are doing nothing because KvD has made a video of it. So my guess is that they come up with a warning. I hope they ban kvd as example, he always gets away with his videos.
It's not passive to ban, because we don't do anything different on the game and not explore a error on the game, only using a existing mechanic (create new character). It's the same like Usina farm XP. On the White Oak YES there is a complete glitch. There is a huge difference between glitch or using a common mechanic that not explore any error existing on the game.
If they make a statement about this this warning people not to do it anymore then fine, but If they move straight into bans that would be irresponsible on their part. Considering they are the ones not testing the product.
I haven’t done it but my clan mates have and lots of others have so I don’t think they will ban players without warning them beforehand. It’s been going on long enough.
I can't believe some content creators were pushing ppl to do it. And honesty they would cry the moment the devs ban them. Then other players are talking about mules... it was a better strat back when expertise was new.
When they do indeed do the rollback/bans I better not get caught in the crossfire simply because I used the crafting station. They better be able to see who got what instead of going like "Oh! This person used the crafting station while we had this game breaking screw up in the game, lets roll them back. Hope they didn't just use it because they were crafting improvised gear or else it'd be for nothing!"
I made a mule and got to 40 but the bench is stuck on specialized, I tried to upgrade it but nothing, not going to waste credits if it's a bug, i tried logging out and back in, also closing the game down but nothing
Iif you're a new player who hasn't asked anyone about anything, just figuring it out for yourself, they wouldn't know that this shouldn't happen. I was one of those people. I just went through and figured how things worked.
I’ve been doing this all morning and it does work 9 out of 10 times. It’s a god role on everything crafting. I wouldn’t call this a hack because it’s freely open. But we’ll see if I get banned.
@@Jerome-em5kf I completed Warlords of New York, hit 40, unlocked watch, and purchased the blue prints in that order. I would press square to level up bench but it stayed low level. All it did was consume large amounts of money and resources until I found I was just wasting them for nothing.
Not down playing what your saying I already did it and they will not ban nobody for this it a mechanic in the game which is the crafting bench so i don't see no bans coming they already broke the game with taking xp away for weekly projects and other bugs they will just patch it on Tuesday they are already losing players so I don't see them banning anyone
No chance they’ll ban for this, rollback would be the only “punishment” and honestly I don’t even think that will happen. It’s not a game breaking bug, you can’t grief other players by doing it. Imagine all the new players, who this updated way of leveling to 40 was targeted for, blindly doing this not having a clue it’s a bug because to them they’re just crafting stuff for their new character that just hit 40, then boom they get suspended because of it, goodbye new player base (along with some of the old), they would never come back to this game, would be a HUGE black eye for the game just months before the release of the new DLC, no chance they hand out suspensions, they barley made it past the suspensions from a couple years ago, and those suspensions were justifiable, justifying suspensions for this would be impossible.
Any time something thats too good to be true happens with a new update in this game, I always avoid that stuff. im already overflowing with max mods and max rolled exotics anyway.

Been gaming since the Atari 2600. Im 54 and play this game on the daily, enjoy the farming aspect of it. You want short cuts then by all means go for it. What about if you did this by accident? And you crafted 2 or three items? Is it our fault the game is broken? I had already had a new character before this season began. Will I get whacked by Massive?
They have a flagging program system that everyone is added to As it keeps tracks of players new and old what they doing They updated this system a few days after they said they fixed camp white oak glitch but no one listened and they carried on using the glitch for xp and they the system flag them for the vast amount of xp gain and on the next update a lot of players where banned from the game for the exploit This will be the same for the crafting table as the game and system software records your progress they are not stupid they know how to keep track of Their players progress If you think you will not get flag then think again no one is safe from the system They said after camp white oak glitch that almost broke the game completely they had announced they will be monitoring all progression of game play
I have a few before this bug and I just a few days before remade a character with no bugs or cheats and I bet they give me grief even though I didn’t do anything but play the game.
This is ridiculous. Getting banned for making a new character and then also just crafting gear? That's fucked up if they do start rolling out ban waves. At that point, idc because fuck ubisoft and massive.
This isn't a bug, nor a glitch. The developers more than likely cranked up the rare crafting percentage too high. When they removed the world tiers, and made the world loot all gold pieces. I highly doubt anyone will get banned for this, but the developers might just roll them back a week or two. Depending on how long it will take them to fix this. If it feels too good to be true, it most likely is. Either this is most likely the developers trying to pull in numbers for how many players seem to be to ok with deleting their characters to run the game again to go right ahead to be ok with going forward with their seasonal characters plan, or they truly don't know how to work with this game coding structure.

I bought the bundle with 27 tier rewards skips, and still didn’t get it. Emailed them with proof…..still didn’t get it. I’m just about done with season pass rewards. Gonna get 27 god rolled items.. lol in exchange for 27 tier skips. Long time player too.
Kamikaze finna get banned or suspended on Twitter again soon enough and content creators like him who cry about normal players who don’t play every single day he’s going to cry barter to get his account back I just know it cause it’s happened to him before and he’s gotten in trouble for videos or for in game stuff he did that was against the rules policies apparently many little birds were speaking on him and callin him out like a year or two ago I think but yeh I’d rather farm xp and gear pieces and weapons other in game content naturally not by cheating cause imagine abusing a bug then telling other folks to do the same smh honestly but as an issue warning even if small players who don’t use social media don’t get pinched I still wouldn’t try to go at it knowing there’s still a chance you will get in trouble if the in game system catches you don’t do it dont be stupid
I've been with Ubi since Ghost Recon Online (12 years) , so I KNOW for a fact that if you utilize the exploit, you're going to get fucking banhammered hard. I'll bet a paycheck on it. DON'T DO IT.

There isn't going to be any bans or rollbacks because crafting is a core mechanic. If u think crafting is banning/rollbackable, then u might as well do that to people that overcap materials from doing mule runs.
Their fault, their responsibility to fix it, not the players, (ex: you purchase an item at X price $ in a store, go home and the store calls you back and says we're sorry the item you bought was supposed to be x amount $$$ please pay the de difference, or else, no of course not, the ownness is on the store to set their prices correctly not the clients), that why there are laws that protect consumers, same rule here, Ubisoft created the issue not the players it was not there before the update the ownness is on them period. Does this mean players can't use the crafting bench until the devs resolve their mistake, "Sorry we F up. It's too bad players you need to wait X weeks till the next update because we're too busy with F ing the dog." Trust me, if every project I had turned in with mistake after mistake, I would have been fired after the third strike. But every Ubisoft update ever made came with issues, and we tolerate it, ask yourself this, how many times would you let your better half cheat before you called it off, surly not 100 or 1000 times, unless you're like a masochist, and you like it… I'm not… Maybe a few minor discrepancies could be excused had it rarely happened, but guaranteed repeated issues, no forgiveness nor sympathy from me, you F up you own up.

I respect your warning, but bugs like this never got anyone banned. It’s the ones where players have to do an abnormal sequence of steps triggering a glitch, that gets you banned. (Ie. dmg glitch w/ turret, the broken door glitch camp white oak, the invisibility glitch in the dz).
Other bugs similar to this one got no ban (ie. Items available at vendor for free- unlimited purchases)
@@GoatMeal365 I think the underlying premise is that if you can gain an unfair advantage or exploit a bug they will take some type of action. If they can patch it within a day or so, it may be fine. Otherwise im expecting some statement or tweet about this. Players can basically craft all god rolled items they want from year 6 after they complete the season track. Not to mention anything available at the crafting station. It may not end with a ban, but even a rollback would suck for people.

Seeing that multiple cheaters and server interceptors dont get banned after countless reports, I think im okay with using a glitch that benefits me and doesn't hurt anyone in the process of my 8,000 hour character.

Anyone that’s played the division long enough knows that the devs don’t ban cheaters, but they do ban players who participate in exploits. They have done it three or four times already in the past. So I wouldn’t put it past them to do it again. But, It’s honestly not that big of a deal. The ban Is only like a week or so long and they simply just take back everything the player got. So basically, It’s just time wasted on the players end. So fuck it. Take the risk. . What’s a week off from this shitty ass game anyways. It’s not like any of us are going to miss out on anything.

I agree with you 100%, the game is in a pathetic state right now, countless bugs and glitches that Massive has refused to fix yet they have the time and resource to release stupid time limited cosmetics to get people to buy them out of fomo. Year 6 doesn't sound promising. The game's story is a laughing stock, I am convinced they will have us kill keener and keep resurrecting him again and again until Division 3 launches. And they don't even ban cheaters who blatantly use hacks. I will do this and if they ban me, I will be more than happy to be rid of this stupid game.
I'm not sure if I agree with you. An exploit usually involves triggering secret or faulty code to obtain unintended advantages. Crafting costs resources, while exploits don't. What if the developers have intentionally designed it this way to motivate players to use their resources and encourage grinding for those who don't have them? That's how I see it. Because the developers do not have a way to prove who is cheating and who is just crafting, and as long as you used your resources, how could you be cheating? You will have to grind at some point to have enough resources to craft whatever you get.
I agree. This was done on purpose to help new players. How else would this affect only new characters? Makes no sense. I think they didn't want to announce it so veterans wouldn't have a cow. Are the 3 Exotic caches they gave us when creating a new character an exploit, too? Am I going to get banned for opening one and getting an Elmos? Nice newb weapon for starting new characters.
I understand your perspective, but let's be real. I have around 2k hours in the game, 95% of the gear I get is either trash or requires significant optimization to be useful. It's frustrating, especially in a game that's been around for 6 years. I personally, will try it.

The reason you are getting gear with low rolls, is because that’s how the progression system works… You start out on Story/hard difficulty after level 40 and start getting the correct pieces together for builds… Then you up your difficulty one two bumps to get better rolled gear and work your way up to Challenging and finally Heroic. On Heroic gear drops with 80-100% rolls… Some builds let’s you do straight to Heroic from story/hard diff…

This is a tough one for anyone that plays this game. I’ve got everything I need already. Max rolled everything. But it’s definitely a risky thing to do in this game. I wouldn’t promote any of the “glitches” either. Good stuff.
At this point in time especially for the veteran players i dont see it as a surprise that most want to take advantage of this. Frankly i dont see why the players should be punished for a bug they unknowingly added into the game. The fact is this is because of their own carelessness and lack of play testing that this is in the game. The only reason this bug is considered a problem is because its one of the few helpful ones. They still havent fixed the reloading glitch, nor certain talents not consistently procking. They now messed up the ability to view builds. Enemies still get stuck in spawns and barriers soft locking the missions. The player still gets stuck on barriers when running or getting revived. Ive had skills bug out on multiple times during legendary runs because of things like shock grenades, or they outright just get blanked out during the missions. Conflict still doesnt balance lobbies fairly at all (usually whole max level teams vs the rest). Puzzle hunter spawns are also bugged for those trying to get the white out keys. So many bugs which also affect the the gameplay (usually results in deaths or restarts) and we just need smile and be happy. You are not wrong thst they may ban or role back people or delete crafted items but frankly they are hypocrites if they do so, if they want our time and patience for farming, they need to actually take time and care for the game they want to continue building on.
The devs have a LONG history of banning players for bugs found after updates drop.
@@SoakDisko I am indeed aware of this, and straight up agree with you. It still doesn't change that the Devs carelessness for how they release updates has led to this bug alongside others. This type of carelessness is no different to what rockstar games used to do for GTA and this eventually led to actual personal data leaks etc. They are hypocrites if they do wanna ban players who choose to partake in this tho because frankly the player base has had enough of the annoying bugs the Devs release. If they want to ensure the game remains balanced, do a crafted items wipe for anything crafted from year 6 new characters. At least they can show some authority without shitting on long term players who have had enough even more. And no I'm not partaking in this, I've warned various friends not to risk it especially since certain items (IE desired gear mods) have caps on them anyway.
This godroll bug doesn't affect devs server mechanics. Not sure what you mean banning players using this. Maybe rollback but never ban. Just my opinion. But if you are exploiting an xp glitch or bug that gets you season level 0-100 in 1hr or less, yes you'll get a temp ban then perma ban on 2nd offence.😂

I don't see bans going out for this personally. At least...not yet. If the developers do feel this is an exploit then they should put up a message in game ASAP to say "Hey. We know this is a thing. If you use it then you will be punished." if they don't then some players may not know. It seems silly I know to say it that way but if you don't address it immediately then people will not know.
Plus, it's technically part of a normal player experience to level up and use the bench. I'm not saying this in defense or support of this weird bug. Just saying as an observer from the sidelines. (I don't need anything as my stuff is already god rolled).

Crafting bench upgrades related to World Tiers have been removed. Superior and High-end bench quality upgrades have been redistributed to match the new item quality/level distribution.
So dont think this is a bug but i could be wrong :) and if you got better stuff farming will be much easier in game.
I don't think this is a bug. I think they just granted this to the players for the sake of the new wave players. My reasoning is that the near/god-roll stats seem to be by design, as you cannot get 13% Protection from Elites. you only get %12.
If this was a coding mishap and the game would church out maxed all mids indiscriminately, there would be no reason for us not getting maxed PfE.

Another thing that you have to take into consideration. Even if you don't use this particular exploit, you run the risk of getting a ban/rollback for running with someone who has used this particular exploit. I speak with experience on this matter. Having match maked into a group, while the turret damage glitch was going on, and subsequently receiving a two week ban in addition to a rollback as well.
That turret thing a friend of mine got banned and alot of gear taken off him including a EB.
This is why I don’t think they can ban anyone; it’s not exactly an exploit. You’re not doing anything abnormal to trigger it.
Thousands of players new characters EVERYDAY because of the SHD points which comes in handy to buy resources for optimising, expertise and CRAFTING.
So thousands of players are crafting in the game every minute of the day with or without the bug. To start banning players will be very tricky because it will end up like when they banned players who didn’t even do the damage glitch and left players who did and even posted proof.
Its comparable to going to an ATM to withdraw $20, and it gives you $100. If you do it once, its no problem. If you spend all day there "exploiting" the glitch, you may face charges lol. Just saying.

Dude, i just started playing this game after 2 years. I thought it was weird that all the items I was crafting were perfectly rolled but being a new character I thought it was so that I could ease back into the tougher content.

A bug is not an “exploit” you are not causing an exploit. Also they will lose at least half their player base. You are still using mats to craft. If you exploited crafting to cause it to not use mats then that’s cheating

You dont think this falls under the exploit category? A way to GET ALL Mods, gear and weapons triple god rolled? Eg: Farming for a certain gun with 3 decent attributes and you can just change the talent. If you want any piece of gear with maxed rolls, this exploit gives it to you, so it removes the farming element. Maybe ur right tho, im just gonna avoid this one like the plague lol

I'd have to respectfully disagree. What if I'm a brand new player and didn't know anything about the exploit. Are they really going to ban me or remove my gear when I did nothing wrong? If they did they would lose almost all of their players

I just bought the game the day after Ubisoft forward. I don’t anything about the game I’ve got only 1 character, I’m shd lvl 34 and I just went to crafting station today and I’ve rolled loads of stuff maxed out. You will not get banned. I mentioned your scenario in a comment I posted on this. New players are using the crafting bench everyday.
Plus This bug is not triggered by an abnormal sequence of steps to cause an exploit, like other bannable offenses of the past. SoakDisko is doing the right thing by warning players, but Devs are not going to ban players for this, at least not without giving a warning to stop.

They banned for the turret glitch, banned for white oak, rolled back for exploiting tombs for proficiency/expertise, they will in all likelihood take action here too. Heck they rolled back expertise because of their bug and we weren't even exploiting, we were just playing. At least we got compensation caches but back then optimizing was expensive AF. Haven't made a new character since about a month before the new season started. I did need to farm a new Diamondback as this season is rifles and did that with one of my legacy characters from way before Warlords. Re-rolling for DTOC on the bottom slot changes the source from farmed to crafted. Hopefully if they take action they'll see this wasn't acquired using the new bug and that i haven't made a new character since the season's start.
they should also ban the creators promoting that people do this.
You literally still have to farm for blueprints and materials to even access the ability to craft them. You still have to go through the raid for some of them and control points for attachments. You have to have the right roles on your gear. So I mean it just depends

Devs won't ban anyone doing it because everything done is normal process in game. Doing a new character and crafting stuff part of gane.. Yes the devs have messed up but it's there mistake.. Can't punish people from doing normal stuff in the game end of.

Imagine buying a game and the tutorial tells you to craft something which you do and then you get banned for it. That will be a move no one will ever forget

Funny thing is, even with this bug, you can't get 12% PFE mods. I tried it. They roll 11% just like the vendors. As for bans, I don't think they can do that until they announce the bug. Otherwise, they'd have to ban new players for simply using the crafting bench. Well, I shouldn't say they "can't". They shouldn't. They usually come out and say, if you do it after this date, you can be banned.

I made a new character to earn resources, crafted and got god rolled because the bug. But, what do they expect me to do? It's not passive to ban, because we don't do anything different on the game and not explore a error on the game, only using a existing mechanic (create new character). It's the same like Usina farm XP. On the White Oak YES there is a complete glitch. There is a huge difference between glitch or using a common mechanic that not explore any error existing on the game.

Yes I remember the Lady Death glitch in NY, a lot of my friends got banned for that.

When they do indeed do the rollback/bans I better not get caught in the crossfire simply because I used the crafting station. They better be able to see who got what instead of going like "Oh! This person used the crafting station while we had this game breaking screw up in the game, lets roll them back. Hope they didn't just use it because they were crafting improvised gear or else it'd be for nothing!"
from what i know its an expliot that only works when you make a mule with the new system. It dont work on existing characters.

I made a mule and got to 40 but the bench is stuck on specialized, I tried to upgrade it but nothing, not going to waste credits if it's a bug, i tried logging out and back in, also closing the game down but nothing
Iif you're a new player who hasn't asked anyone about anything, just figuring it out for yourself, they wouldn't know that this shouldn't happen. I was one of those people. I just went through and figured how things worked.
I’ve been doing this all morning and it does work 9 out of 10 times. It’s a god role on everything crafting. I wouldn’t call this a hack because it’s freely open. But we’ll see if I get banned.

@@Jerome-em5kf I completed Warlords of New York, hit 40, unlocked watch, and purchased the blue prints in that order. I would press square to level up bench but it stayed low level. All it did was consume large amounts of money and resources until I found I was just wasting them for nothing.
They still have not fixed the blueprint for the vindicator not being available for purchase after buying one.

No chance they’ll ban for this, rollback would be the only “punishment” and honestly I don’t even think that will happen. It’s not a game breaking bug, you can’t grief other players by doing it. Imagine all the new players, who this updated way of leveling to 40 was targeted for, blindly doing this not having a clue it’s a bug because to them they’re just crafting stuff for their new character that just hit 40, then boom they get suspended because of it, goodbye new player base (along with some of the old), they would never come back to this game, would be a HUGE black eye for the game just months before the release of the new DLC, no chance they hand out suspensions, they barley made it past the suspensions from a couple years ago, and those suspensions were justifiable, justifying suspensions for this would be impossible.
Any time something thats too good to be true happens with a new update in this game, I always avoid that stuff. im already overflowing with max mods and max rolled exotics anyway.

Thank you for the vid. Yeah never understood player's that push this stuff. Lost my subscribe over it, usually good vids but to urge players to hurry and do this, no thank you. But to each their own. Been gaming since the Atari 2600. Im 54 and play this game on the daily, enjoy the farming aspect of it. You want short cuts then by all means go for it. But don't complain when the Dev's rollback all that you did. But again just an old man gamer sharing his 2 cents. GG'S everyone!
What about if you did this by accident? And you crafted 2 or three items? Is it our fault the game is broken? I had already had a new character before this season began. Will I get whacked by Massive?

They have a flagging program system that everyone is added to
As it keeps tracks of players new and old what they doing
They updated this system a few days after they said they fixed camp white oak glitch but no one listened and they carried on using the glitch for xp and they the system flag them for the vast amount of xp gain and on the next update a lot of players where banned from the game for the exploit
This will be the same for the crafting table as the game and system software records your progress they are not stupid they know how to keep track of Their players progress
If you think you will not get flag then think again no one is safe from the system
They said after camp white oak glitch that almost broke the game completely they had announced they will be monitoring all progression of game play

I have a few before this bug and I just a few days before remade a character with no bugs or cheats and I bet they give me grief even though I didn’t do anything but play the game.
This is ridiculous. Getting banned for making a new character and then also just crafting gear? That's fucked up if they do start rolling out ban waves. At that point, idc because fuck ubisoft and massive.
This isn't a bug, nor a glitch. The developers more than likely cranked up the rare crafting percentage too high. When they removed the world tiers, and made the world loot all gold pieces.
I highly doubt anyone will get banned for this, but the developers might just roll them back a week or two. Depending on how long it will take them to fix this.
If it feels too good to be true, it most likely is. Either this is most likely the developers trying to pull in numbers for how many players seem to be to ok with deleting their characters to run the game again to go right ahead to be ok with going forward with their seasonal characters plan, or they truly don't know how to work with this game coding structure.

I saw videos about this glitch/bug. It is tempting but I decided not to do it. I want the thrill and excitement of getting a god roll.
I bought the bundle with 27 tier rewards skips, and still didn’t get it. Emailed them with proof…..still didn’t get it. I’m just about done with season pass rewards. Gonna get 27 god rolled items.. lol in exchange for 27 tier skips. Long time player too.
Kamikaze finna get banned or suspended on Twitter again soon enough and content creators like him who cry about normal players who don’t play every single day he’s going to cry barter to get his account back I just know it cause it’s happened to him before and he’s gotten in trouble for videos or for in game stuff he did that was against the rules policies apparently many little birds were speaking on him and callin him out like a year or two ago I think but yeh I’d rather farm xp and gear pieces and weapons other in game content naturally not by cheating cause imagine abusing a bug then telling other folks to do the same smh honestly but as an issue warning even if small players who don’t use social media don’t get pinched I still wouldn’t try to go at it knowing there’s still a chance you will get in trouble if the in game system catches you don’t do it dont be stupid

I've been with Ubi since Ghost Recon Online (12 years) , so I KNOW for a fact that if you utilize the exploit, you're going to get fucking banhammered hard. I'll bet a paycheck on it. DON'T DO IT.
I don't need any God-rolls, I got all my gear to the max. Business must be good for the developers, I would think they can't afford to have people leave The Division franchise.

I don't believe that they will ban you for creating a new character only. Actually i need a new one to do new york and get resources. Is they ban it will be for using the crafting table. What am i supposed to do for resources ?? Wait for them to fix their own mistake ?

There isn't going to be any bans or rollbacks because crafting is a core mechanic. If u think crafting is banning/rollbackable, then u might as well do that to people that overcap materials from doing mule runs.

Their fault, their responsibility to fix it, not the players, (ex: you purchase an item at X price $ in a store, go home and the store calls you back and says we're sorry the item you bought was supposed to be x amount $$$ please pay the de difference, or else, no of course not, the ownness is on the store to set their prices correctly not the clients), that why there are laws that protect consumers, same rule here, Ubisoft created the issue not the players it was not there before the update the ownness is on them period. Does this mean players can't use the crafting bench until the devs resolve their mistake, "Sorry we F up. It's too bad players you need to wait X weeks till the next update because we're too busy with F ing the dog." Trust me, if every project I had turned in with mistake after mistake, I would have been fired after the third strike. But every Ubisoft update ever made came with issues, and we tolerate it, ask yourself this, how many times would you let your better half cheat before you called it off, surly not 100 or 1000 times, unless you're like a masochist, and you like it… I'm not… Maybe a few minor discrepancies could be excused had it rarely happened, but guaranteed repeated issues, no forgiveness nor sympathy from me, you F up you own up.
