The big thing about deadlock trips is that you need to place them in such a way that you catch the enemy out in the open, they shouldn't have the option to quickly run back behind cover. This is why most people think she's trash, because their trip placement is trash. The wall, yes it's not as good as a sage wall, but it's still a wall that can keep every agent except Jett, omen and sometimes reyna, out(same as a sage wall except reyna). Don't peak after you've thrown your wall! It's there to keep them out and to give your team time to get to you. She's most definitely not an S or A tier agent, but easily a mid B tier and definitely has her time and place.
