HI guys!! Man you all are awesome. The knowledge that you give is like mutual. I have been doing what you mention in your videos by trial and error. Also by being resourceful and putting my name, company name out there. Only way we grow and become better is by doing and following those that are doing what were doing. I wanted to ask, who did you use to get your pin? I have been meaning to get some created for myself and my company to award to staff. Thank you soo much for all the great content you put out. It’s always good stuff.
Totally! It's all about making adjustments and corrections along the way. We got our pins from galaxydesignsquad.com. They always do a great job. Thanks for watching!
Great content, I appreciate how you work hard to make it both informative and entertaining enough to keep my attention. I do have one question (also I'm very new to the janitorial business). What is the difference between a proposal and contract? Is one simply a form of marketing while the other is a signed document or is there more to it?
Thanks for watching! A proposal is the foundation for a contract. It is the offer and price you are proposing to the customer. The contract is the signed agreement where the customer accepts the proposal. Hope that makes sense. A lot of people use the terms interchangeably.
I appreciate all the wisdom that you share. I have a question, how do you give an initial bid on a medical clinic based on a floorplan and scope of work that was sent via- email? The clinic is still under construction.
Here is a video dedicated to how to create a medical cleaning bid: ruclips.net/video/KNxKwtNpe_s/видео.htmlsi=ONw9y00ga-2nFbVR You may not like this answer, but if you can't get all the information outlined in the video we shared, it is likely to early to provide a bid. You may want to share an estimate, but let them know that you will need to walk the building again when it is complete. Things change in construction and you don't want to price too low.
I have a question...regarding cleaning materials like garbage bags .do you include the cost of it to your price or do you charge the customer in a separate invoice for the price of garbage bags ?
Great question! We apply the cost of materials and wear on equipment to our hourly rate, so it is built into the price. If we are ordering paper product for a customer, then we will charge them separately for those things.
I need help! I am wanting to venture out in the commercial world and have no idea where to even start. Well, I have an idea but I need lots of help and guidance. Some great insight would be wonderful!
Hi, Lisa! We don't have a course yet, but are working on one and will let you know when it is ready! For now, check in every Wednesday for a new video. We have plans to make a video just for beginners that explains how to set up your business. Thanks for reaching out!
We're still working on getting courses put together, but we are offering one-on-one consulting. You can book a free intro call with Matt to see if it's something you'd be interested in. Here is the link: info.octoclean.com/consulting
CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management. It is a platform that allows you to record and manage customer contacts, send marketing materials, and proposals/quotes to customers. They are all different so quotes will look different depending on what you use. We plan to film a live video where Matt builds a quote from scratch. A little bit of patience and you will get that video soon!

@@OctoCleanMedia🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Literally nothing
No examples, no detail, not even an image of the contract itself! No explanation of what CRM means. Thanks for nothing.
