    After struggling to grasp these concepts from reading my (rather long-winded) course textbooks, I searched RUclips in the hopes of finding a video that could describe the differences between Precision and Accuracy/Random and Systematic Error clearly and concisely... and that is exactly what you did here! Thank you so much for this Jeremy! Great job! :)

      +Kate F I'm so glad to hear this Kate! There is nothing like a complex/serious/boring textbook to confuse you and put you to sleep... (they are not all like that though). I really just try an simplify things and it's awesome that I could do that for you.
      All the best with your studies :)
      Jeremy

    Thanks for the video Jeremy, have set this for homework for my students. Great throwback to the 'pre-studio' days for you as well.

    But how do you determine whether the results are low precision (but high accuracy) vs just random results that appear to be low precision and high accuracy. Especially when dealing with very small data pools?

    3:20 someone should make an online simulator for these targets so when you calculate the error or percent error it puts a dot where that would be

    I read somewhere random error could either be because of the measuring instrument or the environmental changes. Is it right

    • @aishwaryajangir2909
      @aishwaryajangir2909 6 лет назад

      No ,not by the measuring instrument but small changes in the experimental setup surroundings or human errors too .
