We in Idaho are also dealing with mold toxins. Please use respirator! Masks will do nothing to protect you.
We have had to use BioCide 100.
We have been displaced for over a year.
May the love of Jesus Christ, and the prayers of fellowship believers in Idaho, comfort you all!

Curious what the cause of your mold in Idaho is, if you don’t mind sharing? I’m in Colorado & due to faulty plumbing in the originating building process 10 years ago our bathrooms, kitchen, plus heating & cooling systems all had mold contamination. I got really sick for 2 years before we figured it out. It was all hidden from site but after testing showed mold in the air, the mold mitigation started & everywhere they tore apart the walls they found more mold. Prayers. 💟🙏🏻✝️

The Lord said he would provide all that we need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. So Father we are asking that you will send help soon. That you will meet the needs of this family and so many others. In Jesus precious name amen!

I think people would help you get some, at least for working in your basement and scraping the bricks (or whatever was happening there?). 🙏

Wow a powerful, yet painful, metaphor of how Jesus cleanses and prunes our souls. He goes room by room, cleaning out what doesn’t serve us, makes us sick, and has been broken. It feels like loss, but brings freedom and room to grow. Thank for showing us this earthly picture of a Heavenly grace.

Oh my friend please take it from someone who has (& still is) battling mold sickness, please you & your family go to a safe (safe meaning mold free) place if possible. Family or friends I pray there’s someone who can open the door to y’all. The belongings can be replaced. God will restore. Between your masks & remedial approach, y’all are just being exposed that much more with an unprecedented amount of work to do. I mean no disrespect mold is not to underestimate. Prioritize your health my friend I pray in Jesus name y’all are led to safety quickly. I had to let go of my home in Louisiana for the same reason. I speak vibrant health & healing over y’all’s bodies & minds in Jesus name. Psalms 91 praise be to God! I'm so sorry for all the heartbreak and damage you are all going through. My sons and I were diagnosed with CIRS from Mold Toxicity coming from our home that we've been in one year. One week after the hurricanes hit, we had to pull all the flooring and insulation and all just before winter was such a shock to me. However, I have been giving thanks to God that we did not lose our home like many of you on the east coast have endured. I grew up with hurricanes and we just spent almost a week without power with the house in shambles.
I don't know how to even explain other than the Grace of God - we are always taken care of and provided for. Thank you so much for sharing.
Mold is affecting people everywhere. I'm praying for us to come up with solutions other than the "remediation" which is cost prohibitive and not helping out homeowners insurance policies.

I am new to your channel but I have started watching you more frequently as your episodes have popped up more often on my feed.
You and your family will continue to be in my prayers as I know this is a very hard situation for you. Our family had dealt with a horrible mold situation in our house a couple years ago and didn’t know until my husband became chronically ill and now my children suffer from various issues as a result. As much as I know you want to do all that you can to restore and clean your home, the health of your family is much more critical. Please reconsider having your children and family attempt to clean this. It’s not worth the long term health effects that it can have on your family. Praying you can find a mold remediator or expert to help you through this and most importantly that the Lord provides a longterm alternative place to stay in the meantime.

Hello, what works is non scented household bleach & water, i mix it 50/50 . Get an air pump garden spayer & spray the cinder brick walls , i would do 1 wall at a time & run outside for air & wait & back for another. Chemical mask & safety gogles & then put a wood stove down there & pipe out any opening, thats going to take some time to dry. I hold my breath sometimes & in & out for good air, doesn't take long to do a wall or be safe 1 minute in then 10 minutes outside letting basement vent .Vinegar doesn't work.

My family and I are from Elizabethton, TN. We, as well, were impacted by the floods of Helene. Our entire town, even our municipal airport turned into nothing but donation hubs, trying so hard to get the supplies into North Carolina. There are so many here with water damage and mold, it's heartbreaking. The community is trying to combat as much as possible. My in-laws got infections and pneumonia. hospitalized, from helping the flood victims in Erwin, TN and other places in NC. I will be praying for you and your family. After seeing the devastation here, neighboring West NC, we all feel like family and take this situation personally. God bless 🙏

Sorry for your situation. I would try high strength vinegar to kill the mold. More than one application if needed. A garden sprayer, a respirator with filter, and a hazmat suit would do it. I am no expert, but do some research and I hope you try it because using screwdrivers won't take away the mold deep in the cracks. Good luck and God Bless.

You need to wear a full hazmat suit with goggles and a respirator. I would also consult with a mold remediation company. I have had to deal with mold in my house and what your doing is not the right prodedure If its in the basement, it will go throughout the house in the Winter. its called the stack effect. The stack effect can act as a "chimney" drawing mold-laden air from the basement into the rest of the house. I would highly recommend you not live in that house until the house has been remediated. I would also have the mold tested for the type. You don't want to live in a house with black mold.

  • @alexaber9786
    @alexaber9786 3 дня назад +1

I've owned a construction company for about 15 years. Mold is an issue in many people's basements. To remove mold, the first thing that needs to happen is to remove the moisture in the air. Mold grows when the moisture in the air is around 60% or greater. There is a device called a hygrometer that will monitor your humidity. When you or someone you hire goes to remove the moisture, it should not drop below 30%. I personally like 35 - 40% range. To remove the mold spores in the air, someone would need to buy an air purifier - Renpho is a good brand. To remove moisture in the air, someone would need to buy dehumidifier(s). Hisense and GE are good brands.
After further mold growth is stopped, removal of moldy surfaces as possible would be next - sheetrock, paneling, insulation, doors, etc. Typically mold is worse on the inside side. The next step is to get some spray containers (mid sized), fill them full of white vinegar (I do not recommend bleach due to human sensitivity), don't dilute, thoroughly spray down areas with mold and wipe up as much as you can with rags. I would then throw away these rags in their own trash bags separate from your normal trash bags. After that, remaining surfaces with mold in the basement need to be encased. Kilz is a popular brand. Some people use Drylok. There are a couple options to choose from. Whatever the option is, you want the paint material to be thick. Thicker = better. Multiple coats may be necessary. Dollar Tree sells cheap brushes and roller pads.
I personally recommend digging trenches on the outside of the house to reroute water away from the property at least 10 feet away and tarring as much as the block under the ground as possible. On the inside, I recommend installing 1 bys to allow room for water resistant insulation to be installed. If you choose to put up sheetrock again in the basement - either ceiling or walls, there is sheetrock with a purple cover. Purple = water resistant and mold resistant. With the increase cost of paneling due to the inflation, installing purple sheetrock is about 40% more expensive than installing paneling in my area of America.

I know someone who lived in a house with mold and she lost the use of her legs from the Aspergillus. Doctors said she would never walk again. She was in a wheelchair. She can walk now but has constant pain in her joints and takes painkillers all the time because years later she has constant pain in her joints. The mold does something to your joints. I don't know the medical pathology I just know firsthand how living in a house with mold ruined this woman's knees, hips, etc. She ended up moving out of her house and putting all her possessions on the street for the garbage truck and had to spray paint skull and bones on everything so people wouldn't take it. Her husband ended up with Major Depression from the mold. Mold in your home is nothing to take chances with. It can also be in the trees in the area.

I am sorry you are dealing with all of this. Praying you get the help you need. We had a flood in 2008 and I was able to organize people into helping those who were hit the worst. There are only 2 things that kill mold spores. Sunlight and bleach, but only in small amounts. One capful in a bucket of water is all it takes. If you just wash with soap and water, it only takes off the surface growth but the spores are still there to grow again. Change your water often and wipe down everything. The flood water is so contaminated, so we had a bucket of water by the door to dunk our feet in before coming in the house. Leave the outside shoes outside and then burn them when you are done with this. The Methodist Churches do flood buckets for people who are in floods, but someone needs to contact them to get a semi delivered. They are full of cleaning supplies. May God send you help and aid as winter is coming in. Big hugs.

In the OT, if the mold (or leprosy) kept coming back, the house was demolished. Real Estate Mindset posted an interview with Lacey, SAR Communication, on YT, 13 November 2024. At about the six minute mark she was talking about radioactive contamination and toxins in the water. No idea from here whether you would be in an area that could be affected. Oh my goodness mold is so dangerous! I have been so sick for 2 years from mold found in our hvac system. I am currently seeing a doctor, Dr. Alice Ingram, (whom herself had been sick from mold in the past) at Family Functional Medicine in Greensboro, NC, for mold toxicity, and she is starting a new mold group bc of all the mold in western NC. It's via zoom for $100 a month which includes weekly meetings full of all sorts of info and personal one on one appointments with her for treatment if anyone is interested.

I live thousands of miles away but I used warm white full strength vinegar mixed with borax and painted that on moldy walls (which had been that way for quite a while!) which worked well and the mold did not come back

So sorry to see this. I agree with some of your viewers though. Looking up mold remediation and you will see solutions to use. Chipping can be spreading the mold spores and the mask recommended are the N95 type. Lots of exposure here to the rest of your family and the house. So not worth it to chip the concrete. All over the web, remediation of mold on concrete walls can be very detrimental with no expertise. Please, don't chip it. You are spreading it and the mask you have aren't made for that.

I have a little background with mold so may I offer a kind suggestion. I use to grow mushroom to eat for our family. While it is not the same spore problem, there are some simularitys with what I had to deal with. In order to grow the mushrooms I had to sterilize everything completely or mold similar to what you're dealing with would occur in the grow box. To combat that I simply used unscented bleach water. Just spray it on the surface. That had a 100% knockdown. May I suggest you use that on the surfaces you are going to work on the day before you work on it. This will kill all the active mold. Then after you have finished working on it, spray it again to prevent it from starting again. You might have to do it every couple days for a week or so but it will end the issue. Just remember that the bleach water will need to be vented before you work in the area so it doesn't bother your lungs.
You might try wiping down items with mold on them with a bleach water rag. Bleach is an amazing liquid when it comes to mold.
We are continuing to pray for you for health and prosperity.

Please get your family out of that house, there are so many comments here about the dangers of mold. You are not doing it the right way, it is unsafe, get out now. The health and lives of 14 people are on the line. Look up the effects and contact a mold remediation company, even if they're not in your area. Please take all these comments seriously.

I commented on that other post but my goodness I didn’t realize children were living in here and helping. This is so dangerous and unhealthy and not okay. My husband and I threw away an entire home to save the lives of our babies who were getting sicker and sicker due to mold. I see in the comments there are many people warning. There’s no working through this kind of damage- you cant bring those things with you! The spores will continue to replicate and cause sickness. It is better to lose material than watch family members die from illness. I beg you as a sister in Christ to look up the health effects of staying in there. I am so sad to be seeing little children without proper protection working and disturbing all those spores. Every hack at that wall is causing millions of spores to explode and release mycotoxins into the air. These are persistent and do not wash out easily. They are what causes illness. Y’all gotta be strong and find a place that is healthy to live. I’d rather die knowing I spoke truth into this situation than try to not hurt feelings. Please, look into the serious health effects of continuing to live in that kind of environment

I’m watching you all hammer the walls and scrape the paint that is not productive or needed. YOu need to kill the mold..as I stated below with “swimming pool chlorine” You are breathing it and ingesting it as you scrape. If you feel you need to scrape then use a productive electric sander for cement would make the effort productive.

So was the flooding in the basement or your whole house? so if only in your basement then because you had no electricity or de humidifer fans it caused mold to build up? So is your landlord able to help and provide some paint and other stuff to help with that or is it basically you that has to deal with it all. i am sorry it is not easy. It will take a while I know.

You can see the paint and Killz and cleaners etc down there during the video. Looks like they’re doing all of the protocols but it can be a tough battle and blow and grow everywhere. East coast mountains are already moist place and these things can get out of hand quickly.
