#2. Well, let me tell you that this person appeared in my life in 2011 and since then, I think about her every day. She ghosted me, even knowing that it was disrespectful to me, that I didn't like it. She would vanish for couple days and come back but then, she vanished for a week and after that, a whole month. While she was in no communication, I sent her words of love and encouragement but it was like talking to a wall, I had no idea if I was doing a good or a bad thing by sending those words. Then I started to think she was making a fool out of me and I also had people around me saying she was doing that probably because she was married or was in a relationship. She was the only person who could clarify the situation for me and she was not talking to me so I held the line the most I could but in the end I cheated on her. This action was a cold act, I just wanted to put an end to my suffering and that's why I told her what I did, expecting her to leave and never come back. I didn't break up with her because I couldn't do it, I was too afraid of loosing her and I also was going thru a bad moment in my life, because of college so it was easier to sabotage the relationship than putting my head in place and do what I should have done. I thought I was free but she came back after some time, saying she was sorry and she recognized she treated me poorly. Beautiful words but her ghosting never stopped and this time I lost control over the situtation. In this moment I gave her my power. Time passes and it's 2017 now and she never changed behavior, always ghosting, coming and going as she pleases, without any regards for me and my feelings. I cheated on her again, same thing, cold act and she left in the middle of a discussion, leaving everything in the open. Since then, I send her messages from time to time, just asking to solve things between us but as always, I get no response. I had to deal with depression and right now I'm dealing with anxiety and it's really hard to sleep well. My recovery process started in 2020 with the pandemic and I was able to deal with the college situation, the cause of my depression. I fought hard to kill my love for her and then "they" said I was fighting too much so I stopped and I just let it go but even so, I think about her every day. I'm Scorpio, she is a Leo and her name starts with K. I don't think I've changed a lot but I can tell I'm more in control now. On my point of view, I didn't need this time apart and everything would be solved with support and communication. For me, this love was out of control, I never understood it. I had an ex which I loved but towards this person it seems like something more than love. That sounds like an awful relationship, I am so sorry you went through that. In my experience, sometimes being in a trauma bond with someone can feel even more intense than genuine love. It sounds like you had both with her. Also, I am surprised that you still considered yourself in a relationship with her during/after the ghosting. If I was in a relationship with someone and they ghosted me, after 3 days I'd consider it completely done unless there was a valid explanation (the only valid explanation being they were unconscious in a hospital or something lol). And even just ghosting for more than 24 hours, they'd have a lot of explaining to do. You have much more patience than I. I hope that you find someone who values your patience and unconditional love, you deserve so much better ❤
Pile 2! Sounds like me (capricorn) and my scorpio bff! We met in 2010 and were so close, always talked about growing old together and the adventures we'd go on some day. We called each other soulmates! Unluckily (but not hard to believe), I caught feelings, tried to suppress them when they were unrequited, and then got to a point I couldn't even acknowledge my feelings even to myself. I was in deep delulu. 5 years ago we became roommates and had so many ups and downs, then last summer we went our separate ways (bff moved out to live with bf). Over those years, my bff would get into relationships and I became extremely jealous I'd feel sick and so disappointed in myself I became depressed. We became a little toxic to each other. And even just ghosting for more than 24 hours, they'd have a lot of explaining to do. You have much more patience than I.
