I know this is an old video but it was still great. I absolutely loved it. This is why I adore the fandom so much even though I was kinda late to the party as it were.

You know, as far as I'm concerned, this has set in my mind that Octavia and Vinyl are friends. I don't really care what rendition its is. How different they seem. They are the best of friends. Hands down.
Sad thing is the moral is something I can really relate to because ever since I was little I've always been fascinated by music and I still am to this day and I want to grow up being a Dj yet the real problem is that I've had no friends since kindergarten and now I'm an ninth grader and still everyone hates me and right now I'm going through severe depression mainly because I've always been bullied and beaten up and My Little Pony took me out of the depression. Especially since I can relate so much to Vinyl Scratch and Rainbow Dash. Because I've always wanted to be swift, and be strong like Rainbow and have enjoyed Dubstep remixes, mashups, etc. I've probably listened to nearly every song out there with Dubstep being the genre. But now my depressions gotten worse and now I'm extremely shy and that's because I've come to terms with the facts that MLP isn't real and the world isn't like MLP and that I will never have friends and will also be bullied till graduation. So all my dreams have
been crushed and that nothing I want to do in life will ever come true and so I'm pretty much becoming emo. For example, I've been growing my hair out over my eye, I hate everyone I never socialize, etc. And I've just been watching the same SFM videos over and over telling myself that this will never be me. ;(
+Shadow Dash And also I've been playing on becoming alone with no home just my vehicle and me driving around my State with no goals but keep driving into an oblivious depression/hatred towards everyone/ endless abyss.

Reminds so much of my best friend, we are so different ends of the spectrum, I am going to college and he is a high school drop-out and everyone wonders why he would be my best friend for so long, but, I will never be able to tell them how many times he had been there for me, how often I came to him for help and how he was the one who broke me out of my shell and helped make me who I am today, thanks for such a fantastic comic :)
I kind of find it amusing how many people are complaining about the nickname when these are basically ponies that we brought into our own world through the fandom- so no choice is really a RIGHT choice, its just personal opinion of the person who created the art itself, people really should stop complaining about that.
With so many of the fans putting this much thought and effort into the lives and personalities of the show's background characters, I really hope that, one day, the show itself will give us an episode about them.
None of the main six, or Spike, or the CMC, or even the princesses. Just an episode on the background ponies of Equestria and what they get upto.
